2 Chronicles 8:1-9
1And it came to pass at the endH7093 of twentyH6242 yearsH8141, when SolomonH8010 had builtH1129 the houseH1004 of Jehovah and his own houseH1004,
2that the citiesH5892 which HuramH2361 had givenH5414 to SolomonH8010, SolomonH8010 builtH1129 them and caused the children of IsraelH3478 to dwellH3427 there.
3And SolomonH8010 went to Hamath-Zobah, and overcame it.
4And he builtH1129 TadmorH8412, in the wildernessH4057, and all the store-cities, which he builtH1129 in HamathH2574.
5And he builtH1129 upperH5945 Beth-HoronH1032 and lower Beth-HoronH1032, fortified citiesH5892, with wallsH2346, gates, and barsH1280;
6and BaalathH1191, and all the store-cities that SolomonH8010 had, and all the citiesH5892 for chariotsH7393, and the citiesH5892 for the horsemenH6571, and all that SolomonH8010 desired to buildH1129 in JerusalemH3389, and on LebanonH3844, and in all the landH776 of his dominion.
7All the peopleH5971 that were leftH3498 of the HittitesH2850, and the AmoritesH567, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of IsraelH3478,
8their children that were leftH3498 after them in the landH776, whom the children of IsraelH3478 had not destroyedH3615, upon them did SolomonH8010 impose tribute-service until this dayH3117.
9But of the children of IsraelH3478, of them did SolomonH8010 makeH5414 no bondmen for his workH4399; but they were menH376 of warH4421, and chiefH8269 of his captains, and captains of his chariotsH7393 and his horsemenH6571.
