22But JosiahH2977 would not turnH5437 his faceH6440 from him, but disguisedH2664 himself, that he might fightH3898 against him; and he hearkened not to the wordsH1697 of NechoH5224 from the mouthH6310 of 1GodH430; and he cameH935 to fightH3898 in the valleyH1237 of MegiddoH4023.
23And the archersH3384 shotH3384 at kingH4428 JosiahH2977; and the kingH4428 saidH559 to his servantsH5650, Have me awayH5674, for I am sore woundedH2470.
24And his servantsH5650 took him out from the chariotH4818, and putH4191 him in the secondH4932 chariotH4818 that he had, and brought him to JerusalemH3389. And he diedH4191, and was buriedH6912 in the sepulchres of his fathersH1. And all JudahH3063 and JerusalemH3389 mournedH56 for JosiahH2977.
25And JeremiahH3414 lamented for JosiahH2977; and all the singingH7891 men and singingH7891 women spoke of JosiahH2977 in their lamentationsH7015 to this dayH3117; and they madeH5414 them an ordinance for IsraelH3478. And behold, they are writtenH3789 in the lamentationsH7015.
