2 Chronicles 24:23-27
23And it cameH935 to pass at the end of the yearH8141 [that] the army of Syria cameH935 up against him; and they entered into JudahH3063 and JerusalemH3389, and destroyedH7843 all the princesH8269 of the peopleH5971 from among the peopleH5971, and sentH7971 all the spoilH7998 of them to the kingH4428 at DamascusH1834. 24Truly with a smallH4705 company of menH376 cameH935 the armyH2428 of the Syrians, but Jehovah delivered a veryH3966 great armyH2428 into their handH3027, because they had forsaken Jehovah the 1GodH430 of their fathersH1; and they executed judgmentH8201 upon JoashH3101. 25And when they had departed from him (for they leftH5800 him in greatH7227 diseases), his own servantsH5650 conspired against him for the bloodH1818 of the sonsH1121 of JehoiadaH3077 the priestH3548, and slewH2026 him on his bedH4296, and he diedH4191; and they buriedH6912 him in the cityH5892 of DavidH1732, but they did not buryH6912 him in the sepulchres of the kingsH4428. 26And these are they that conspired against him: ZabadH2066 the sonH1121 of ShimeathH8100 an Ammonitess, and JehozabadH3075 the sonH1121 of Shimrith a Moabitess. 27And as to his sonsH1121, and the greatnessH7230 of the burdens [laid] upon him, and the building of the houseH1004 of 2GodH430, behold, they are writtenH3789 in the treatise of the bookH5612 of the kingsH4428. And AmaziahH558 his sonH1121 reignedH4427 in his stead.
