John 6:22-40

22TheG3588 next dayG1887, theG3588 crowdG3793 thatG3588 had remainedG2476 on the other sideG4008 of theG3588 seaG2281 realizedG3708 thatG3754 onlyG1487G3361 oneG1520 boatG4142 had beenG1510 thereG1563, andG2532 thatG3754 JesusG2424 had not boardedG3756G4897G1519 it with HisG846 disciplesG3101, butG235 they had gone awayG565 aloneG3441. 23HoweverG235, some boatsG4142 fromG1537 TiberiasG5085 landedG2064 nearG1451 theG3588 placeG5117 whereG3699 the people had eatenG5315 theG3588 breadG740 after theG3588 LordG2962 had given thanksG2168. 24SoG3767 whenG3753 theG3588 crowdG3793 sawG3708 thatG3754 neitherG3756 JesusG2424 norG3761 HisG846 disciplesG3101 wereG1510 thereG1563, theyG846 gotG1684 intoG1519 theG3588 boatsG4142 andG2532 wentG2064 toG1519 CapernaumG2584 to look forG2212 Him. 25When they foundG2147 HimG846 on the other sideG4008 of theG3588 seaG2281, they askedG2036 HimG846, “RabbiG4461, whenG4219 did You getG1096 hereG5602?”

26

JesusG2424 repliedG611G846G2532G2036, “TrulyG281, trulyG281, I tellG3004 youG4771, it is notG3756 becauseG3754 you sawG3708 these signsG4592 that you are looking forG2212 MeG1473, butG235 becauseG3754 you ateG5315G1537 theG3588 loavesG740 andG2532 had your fillG5526. 27Do notG3361 workG2038 for foodG1035 thatG3588 perishesG622, butG235 for foodG1035 thatG3588 enduresG3306 toG1519 eternalG166 lifeG2222, whichG3739 theG3588 SonG5207 of ManG444 will giveG1325 youG4771. ForG1063 on HimG3778 GodG2316 theG3588 FatherG3962 has placed His seal of approvalG4972.”

28ThenG3767 they inquiredG2036, “WhatG5101 must we doG4160 toG2443 performG2038 theG3588 worksG2041 of GodG2316?”

29

JesusG2424 repliedG611G2532G2036G846, “TheG3588 workG2041 of GodG2316 isG1510 thisG3778: toG2443 believeG4100 inG1519 theG3739 One HeG1565 has sentG649.”

30SoG3767 they askedG2036 HimG846, “WhatG5101 signG4592 thenG3767 will YouG4771 performG4160, so thatG2443 we may seeG3708 it andG2532 believeG4100 YouG4771? WhatG5101 will You doG2038? 31OurG1473 fathersG3962 ateG5315 theG3588 mannaG3131 inG1722 theG3588 wildernessG2048, asG2531 it isG1510 writtenG1125: ‘He gaveG1325 themG846 breadG740 fromG1537 heavenG3772 to eatG5315.’1”

32

JesusG2424 saidG2036 to themG846, “TrulyG281, trulyG281, I tellG3004 youG4771, it was notG3756 MosesG3475 who gaveG1325 youG4771 theG3588 breadG740 fromG1537 heavenG3772, butG235 it is MyG1473 FatherG3962 who givesG1325 youG4771 theG3588 trueG228 breadG740 fromG1537 heavenG3772. 33ForG1063 theG3588 breadG740 of GodG2316 isG1510 He whoG3588 comes downG2597 fromG1537 heavenG3772 andG2532 givesG1325 lifeG2222 to theG3588 worldG2889.”

34“SirG2962,” they saidG2036G4314G846, “giveG1325 usG1473 thisG3778 breadG740 at all timesG3842.”

35

JesusG2424 answeredG2036, “IG1473 amG1510 theG3588 breadG740 of lifeG2222. WhoeverG3588 comesG2064 toG4314 MeG1473 will never hungerG3756G3361G3983, andG2532 whoeverG3588 believesG4100 inG1519 MeG1473 will never thirstG3756G3361G4455G1372. 36ButG235 as I statedG2036G4771, you have seenG2532G3708 MeG1473 and stillG2532 you do notG3756 believeG4100.

37EveryoneG3956G3739 theG3588 FatherG3962 givesG1325 MeG1473 will comeG2240 toG4314 MeG1473, andG2532 theG3588 one who comesG2064 toG4314 MeG1473 I will never driveG3756G3361G1544 awayG1854. 38ForG3754 I have come downG2597 fromG575 heavenG3772, notG3756 toG2443 doG4160 MyG1699 own willG2307, butG235 to do theG3588 willG2307 of Him whoG3588 sentG3992 MeG1473.

39AndG1161 thisG3778 isG1510 theG3588 willG2307 of Him whoG3588 sentG3992 MeG1473, thatG2443 I shall loseG622 noneG3361 ofG1537 thoseG3739 He has givenG1325 MeG1473, butG235 raise them upG450G846 atG1722 theG3588 lastG2078 dayG2250. 40ForG1063 itG3778 isG1510 MyG1473 Father’sG3962 willG2307 thatG2443 everyoneG3956 whoG3588 looks toG2334 theG3588 SonG5207 andG2532 believesG4100 inG1519 HimG846 shall haveG2192 eternalG166 lifeG2222, andG2532 IG1473 will raise him upG450G846 atG1722 theG3588 lastG2078 dayG2250.”
