John 6:22-40

22On the morrow the multitudeG3793 that stoodG2476 on the otherG243 sideG4008 of the seaG2281 sawG3708 that there wasG1510 no otherG243 boatG4143 there, save oneG1520, and that JesusG2424 entered not with his disciplesG3101 into the boatG4143, but that his disciplesG3101 wentG565 awayG565 aloneG3441 23(howbeit there cameG2064 boatsG4142 from TiberiasG5085 nigh unto the placeG5117 whereG3699 they ateG2068 the breadG740 after the LordG2962 had givenG2168 thanksG2168): 24whenG3753 the multitudeG3793 thereforeG3767 sawG3708 that JesusG2424 wasG1510 not there, neither his disciplesG3101, they themselves got into the boatsG4142, and cameG2064 to CapernaumG2584, seekingG2212 JesusG2424. 25And when they foundG2147 him on the otherG4008 sideG4008 of the seaG2281, they saidG3004 unto him, RabbiG4461, when camest thou hither? 26JesusG2424 answeredG611 them and saidG3004, Verily, verily, I sayG3004 unto you, Ye seekG2212 me, not because ye sawG3708 signsG4592, but because ye ateG2068 of the loavesG740, and were filledG5526. 27WorkG2038 not for the foodG1035 which perisheth, but for the foodG1035 which abideth unto eternalG166 lifeG2222, which the SonG5207 of manG444 shall giveG1325 unto you: for him the FatherG3962, even GodG2316, hath sealedG4972. 28They saidG3004 thereforeG3767 unto him, What must we do, that we may workG2041 the worksG2041 of GodG2316? 29JesusG2424 answeredG611 and saidG3004 unto them, This isG1510 the workG2041 of GodG2316, that ye believeG4100 on him whom he hath sentG649. 30They saidG3004 thereforeG3767 unto him, What then doest thou for a signG4592, that we may seeG3708, and believeG4100 thee? what workest thou? 31Our fathersG3962 ateG2068 the mannaG3131 in the wildernessG2048; as it isG1510 writtenG1125, He gaveG1325 them breadG740 out of heavenG3772 to eatG2068. 32JesusG2424 thereforeG3767 saidG3004 unto them, Verily, verily, I sayG3004 unto you, It was not MosesG3475 that gaveG1325 you the breadG740 out of heavenG3772; but my FatherG3962 giveth you the trueG228 breadG740 out of heavenG3772. 33For the breadG740 of GodG2316 isG1510 that which cometh downG2597 out of heavenG3772, and giveth lifeG2222 unto the worldG2889. 34They saidG3004 thereforeG3767 unto him, LordG2962, evermore giveG1325 us this breadG740. 35JesusG2424 saidG3004 unto them, I amG1510 the breadG740 of lifeG2222: he that cometh to me shall not hungerG3983, and he that believeth on me shall never thirstG1372. 36But I saidG3004 unto you, that ye have seenG3708 me, and yet believeG4100 not. 37All that which the FatherG3962 giveth me shall comeG2064 unto me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise castG1544 out. 38For I am comeG2597 down from heavenG3772, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sentG3992 me. 39And this isG1510 the will of him that sentG3992 me, that of all that which he hath givenG1325 me I should loseG622 nothing, but should raiseG450 it up at the lastG2078 dayG2250. 40For this isG1510 the will of my FatherG3962, that every oneG3778 that beholdeth the SonG5207, and believeth on him, should have eternalG166 lifeG2222; and I will raiseG450 him up at the lastG2078 dayG2250.
