We have heardH8085 H854 a messageH8052 from the LORDH3068;an envoyH6735 has been sentH7971 among the nationsH1471to say, “Rise upH6965,and let us goH6965 to battleH4421 against herH5921!”—

2“BeholdH2009, I will make youH5414 smallH6996 among the nationsH1471;youH859 will be deeplyH3966 despisedH959.3The prideH2087 of your heartH3820 has deceived youH5377,O dwellersH7931 in the cleftsH2288 of the rocksH5553 1whose habitation isH7675 the heightsH4791,who sayH559 in your heartH3820,‘WhoH4310 can bring me downH3381 to the groundH776?’4ThoughH518 you soarH1361 like the eagleH5404 H518and makeH7760 your nestH7064 amongH996 the starsH3556,even from thereH8033 I will bring you downH3381,”declaresH5002 the LORDH3068.5“IfH518 thievesH1590 cameH935 to you,ifH518 robbersH7703 by nightH3915—oh, howH349 you will be ruinedH1820—would they notH3808 stealH1589 only what they wantedH1767?IfH518 grape gatherersH1219 cameH935 to you,would they notH3808 leaveH7604 some gleaningsH5955?6But howH349 EsauH6215 will be pillagedH2664,his hidden treasuresH4710 sought outH1158!7AllH3605 the menH582 allied with youH1285will driveH7971 you toH5704 the borderH1366;the menH582 at peace with youH7965will deceiveH5377 and overpowerH3201 you.Those who eat your breadH3899 2will setH7760 a trapH4204 for youH8478without yourH369 awarenessH8394 of it.8In thatH1931 dayH3117, declaresH5002 the LORDH3068,will I notH3808 destroyH6 the wiseH2450 men of EdomH123and the men of understandingH8394in the mountainsH2022 of EsauH6215?9Then your mighty menH1368, O TemanH8487,will be terrifiedH2865,so thatH4616 everyoneH376 in the mountainsH2022 of EsauH6215will be cut downH3772 in the slaughterH6993.

10Because of the violenceH2555 against your brotherH251 JacobH3290,you will be coveredH3680 with shameH955and cut offH3772 foreverH5769.11On the dayH3117 you stoodH5975 aloofH5048whileH3117 strangersH2114 carried offH7617 his wealthH2428and foreignersH5237 enteredH935 his gateH8179and castH3032 lotsH1486 H1571 forH5921 JerusalemH3389,youH859 were just like oneH259 of them.12But you should notH408 gloatH7200 in that dayH3117,your brother’sH251 dayH3117 of misfortuneH5235,norH408 rejoiceH8055 over the peopleH1121 of JudahH3063in the dayH3117 of their destructionH6,norH408 boast proudlyH1431 H6310 3in the dayH3117 of their distressH6869.13You should notH408 enterH935 the gateH8179 of My peopleH5971in the dayH3117 of their disasterH343,norH408 gloatH7200 overH1571 their afflictionH7451in the dayH3117 of their disasterH343,norH408 lootH7971 their wealthH2428in the dayH3117 of their disasterH343.

14Nor should youH408 standH5975 atH5921 the crossroadsH6563 to cut offH3772 their fugitivesH6412, norH408 deliver upH5462 their survivorsH8300 in the dayH3117 of their distressH6869.

15ForH3588 the DayH3117 of the LORDH3068 is nearH7138forH5921 allH3605 the nationsH1471.AsH834 you have doneH6213, it will be doneH6213 to you;your recompenseH1576 will returnH7725 upon your own headH7218.16ForH3588 asH834 you drankH8354 onH5921 My holyH6944 mountainH2022,so allH3605 the nationsH1471 will drinkH8354 continuallyH8548.They will drinkH8354 and gulp it downH3886;they will beH1961 as if they had neverH3808 existedH1961.17But on MountH2022 ZionH6726 there will beH1961 deliveranceH6413,and it will beH1961 holyH6944,and the houseH1004 of JacobH3290 will reclaimH3423 their possessionH4180.18Then the houseH1004 of JacobH3290 will beH1961 a blazing fireH784,and the houseH1004 of JosephH3130 a burning flameH3852;but the houseH1004 of EsauH6215 will be stubbleH7179—Jacob will set it ablazeH1814 and consume itH398.Therefore noH3808 survivorH8300 will remainH1961from the houseH1004 of EsauH6215.”ForH3588 the LORDH3068 has spokenH1696.19Those from the NegevH5045 will possessH3423 the mountainsH2022 of EsauH6215;those from the foothillsH8219 4 will possess the land of the PhilistinesH6430.They will occupyH3423 the fieldsH7704 of EphraimH669 and SamariaH8111,and BenjaminH1144 will possess GileadH1568.20And the exilesH1546 of thisH2088 hostH2426 of the IsraelitesH1121 H3478 will possess the land of the CanaanitesH3669 asH5704 far as ZarephathH6886;and the exilesH1546 from JerusalemH3389 whoH834 are in SepharadH5614will possessH3423 the citiesH5892 of the NegevH5045.21The deliverersH3467 will ascendH5927 5 MountH2022 ZionH6726to rule overH8199 the mountainsH2022 of EsauH6215.

And the kingdomH4410 will belong toH1961 the LORDH3068.
