Matthew 25:1-30
1ThenG5119 shall the kingdomG932 of heavenG3772 be likened unto tenG1176 virginsG3933, who tookG2983 their lampsG2985, and wentG1831 forthG1831 to meetG5222 the bridegroomG3566. 2And fiveG4002 of them wereG1510 foolishG3474, and fiveG4002 wereG1510 wiseG5429. 3For the foolishG3474, when they tookG2983 their lampsG2985, tookG2983 no oilG1637 with them: 4but the wiseG5429 tookG2983 oilG1637 in their vessels with their lampsG2985. 5NowG1161 while the bridegroomG3566 tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6But at midnight there is a cry, BeholdG2400, the bridegroomG3566! ComeG1831 ye forthG1831 to meetG529 him. 7Then all those virginsG3933 arose, and trimmed their lampsG2985. 8And the foolishG3474 saidG3004 unto the wiseG5429, GiveG1325 us of your oilG1637; for our lampsG2985 are going out. 9But the wiseG5429 answeredG611, sayingG3004, Peradventure there will not be enough for us and you: goG4198 ye ratherG3123 to them that sellG4453, and buyG59 for yourselves. 10And while they wentG565 awayG565 to buyG59, the bridegroomG3566 cameG2064; and they that were readyG2092 wentG565 in with him to the marriageG1062 feastG1062: and the doorG2374 was shutG2808. 11Afterward cameG2064 alsoG2532 the otherG3062 virginsG3933, sayingG3004, LordG2962, LordG2962, openG455 to us. 12But he answeredG611 and saidG3004, Verily I sayG3004 unto you, I know you not. 13WatchG1127 thereforeG3767, for ye know not the dayG2250 nor the hourG5610.
14Forit isaswhena manG444, going into another country, calledG2564 his ownG2398 servantsG1401, and deliveredG3860 unto them his goods. 15And unto oneG1520 he gaveG1325 fiveG4002 talentsG5007, to another twoG1417, to another oneG1520; to each accordingG2596 to his several abilityG1411; and he went on his journey. 16Straightway he that receivedG2983 the fiveG4002 talentsG5007 wentG4198 and traded with them, and madeG4160 otherG243 fiveG4002 talentsG5007. 17In like manner he also that received the twoG1417 gainedG2770 otherG243 twoG1417. 18But he that receivedG2983 the oneG1520 wentG565 awayG565 and digged in the earthG1093, and hidG2928 his lord’sG2962 moneyG694. 19NowG1161 after a long timeG5550 the lordG2962 of those servantsG1401 cometh, and maketh a reckoning with them. 20And he that receivedG2983 the fiveG4002 talentsG5007 cameG4334 and broughtG4374 otherG243 fiveG4002 talentsG5007, sayingG3004, LordG2962, thou deliveredst unto me fiveG4002 talentsG5007: lo, I have gainedG2770 otherG243 fiveG4002 talentsG5007. 21His lordG2962 saidG5346 unto him, Well done, goodG18 and faithfulG4103 servantG1401: thou hast beenG1510 faithfulG4103 over a fewG3641 thingsG4183, I will setG2525 thee over manyG4183 thingsG4183; enterG1525 thou into the joyG5479 of thy lordG2962. 22And he alsoG2532 that received the twoG1417 talentsG5007 cameG4334 and saidG3004, LordG2962, thou deliveredst unto me twoG1417 talentsG5007: lo, I have gainedG2770 otherG243 twoG1417 talentsG5007. 23His lordG2962 saidG5346 unto him, Well done, goodG18 and faithfulG4103 servantG1401: thou hast beenG1510 faithfulG4103 over a fewG3641 thingsG4183, I will setG2525 thee over manyG4183 thingsG4183; enterG1525 thou into the joyG5479 of thy lordG2962. 24And he alsoG2532 that had receivedG2983 the oneG1520 talentG5007 cameG4334 and saidG3004, LordG2962, I knewG1097 thee that thou art a hardG4642 manG444, reapingG2325 whereG3699 thou didst not sowG4687, and gatheringG4863 whereG3699 thou didst not scatterG1287; 25and I was afraidG5399, and wentG565 awayG565 and hidG2928 thy talentG5007 in the earthG1093: lo, thou hast thine own. 26But his lordG2962 answeredG611 and saidG3004 unto him, Thou wickedG4190 and slothful servantG1401, thou knewest that I reapG2325 whereG3699 I sowedG4687 not, and gatherG4863 whereG3699 I did not scatterG1287; 27thou oughtest thereforeG3767 to have putG906 my moneyG694 to the bankers, and at my comingG2064 I should have receivedG2865 backG2865 mine own with interestG5110. 28TakeG142 ye awayG142 thereforeG3767 the talentG5007 from him, and giveG1325 it unto him that hath the tenG1176 talentsG5007. 29For unto every oneG3739 that hath shall be givenG1325, and he shall have abundanceG4052: but from him that hath not, evenG2532 that which he hath shall be takenG142 awayG142. 30And castG1544 ye out the unprofitable servantG1401 into the outerG1857 darknessG4655: there shall beG1510 the weepingG2805 and the gnashingG1030 of teethG3599.
