Luke 12:22-40
22And he saidG3004 unto his disciplesG3101, Therefore I sayG3004 unto you, Be not anxiousG3309 for your lifeG5590, what ye shall eatG2068; nor yet for your bodyG4983, what ye shall putG1746 on. 23For the lifeG5590 isG1510 moreG4183 than the foodG5160, and the bodyG4983 than the raiment. 24ConsiderG2657 the ravens, that they sowG4687 not, neither reapG2325; which have no store-chamber nor barnG596; and GodG2316 feedeth them: of howG4214 muchG4214 moreG3123 value areG1510 ye than the birdsG4071! 25And which of you by being anxiousG3309 can addG4369 a cubit unto the measure of his life? 26If thenG3767 ye are not ableG1410 to do evenG3761 that which is leastG1646, whyG5101 are ye anxiousG3309 concerningG4012 the restG3062? 27ConsiderG2657 the liliesG2918, howG4459 they growG837: they toilG2872 not, neither do they spinG3514; yet I sayG3004 unto you, EvenG3761 SolomonG4672 in all his gloryG1391 was not arrayed like oneG1520 of these. 28But if GodG2316 doth so clothe the grassG5528 in the fieldG68, which to-day isG1510, and to-morrow isG1510 castG906 into the oven; howG4214 muchG4214 moreG3123 shall he clothe you, O ye of little faith? 29And seekG2212 not ye what ye shall eatG2068, and what ye shall drinkG4095, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30For all these thingsG3778 do the nationsG1484 of the worldG2889 seekG1934 after: but your FatherG3962 knoweth that ye have needG5535 of these thingsG3778. 31Yet seekG2212 ye his kingdomG932, and these thingsG3778 shall be addedG4369 unto you. 32FearG5399 not, littleG3398 flockG4168; for it is your Father’s good pleasureG2106 to giveG1325 you the kingdomG932. 33SellG4453 that which ye have, and giveG1325 almsG1654; makeG4160 for yourselves purses which wax not oldG3822, a treasureG2344 in the heavensG3772 that faileth not, whereG3699 no thiefG2812 draweth near, neither mothG4597 destroyeth. 34For whereG3699 your treasureG2344 isG1510, there will your heartG2588 beG1510 alsoG2532.
35Let your loinsG3751 beG1510 girdedG4024 about, and your lampsG3088 burningG2545; 36and be ye yourselves like unto menG444 looking for their lordG2962, when he shall return from the marriageG1062 feastG1062; that, when he cometh and knocketh, they may straightway openG455 unto him. 37Blessed are those servantsG1401, whom the lordG2962 when he cometh shall findG2147 watchingG1127: verily I sayG3004 unto you, that he shall girdG4024 himself, and make them sit down to meat, and shall comeG2064 and serveG1247 them. 38And if he shall comeG2064 in the secondG1208 watchG5438, and if in the thirdG5154, and findG2147 them so, blessed areG1510 those servants. 39But knowG1097 this, that if the master of the houseG3624 had knownG1097 in what hourG5610 the thiefG2812 was comingG2064, he would have watched, and not have leftG863 his houseG3624 to be brokenG1358 through. 40Be ye alsoG2532 readyG2092: for in an hourG5610 that ye thinkG1380 not the SonG5207 of manG444 cometh.
