Jeremiah 38:4-6
4Then the princesH8269 saidH559 unto the kingH4428, Let this manH376, we pray thee, be putH4191 to deathH4191; forasmuch as he weakeneth the handsH3027 of the menH376 of warH4421 that remainH7604 in this cityH5892, and the handsH3027 of all the peopleH5971, in speakingH1696 such wordsH1697 unto them: for this manH376 seeketh not the welfareH7965 of this peopleH5971, but the hurt. 5And ZedekiahH6667 the kingH4428 saidH559, Behold, he is in your handH3027; for the kingH4428 is not he that can do anythingH1697 against you. 6Then tookH3947 they JeremiahH3414, and castH7993 him into the dungeon of Malchijah the king’s sonH1121, that was in the courtH2691 of the guardH4307: and they let down JeremiahH3414 with cordsH2256. And in the dungeon there was no waterH4325, but mire; and JeremiahH3414 sank in the mire.
