Jeremiah 38:4-6
4Therefore the princesH8269 saidH559 unto the kingH4428, We beseech thee, let this manH376 be put to deathH4191: for thusH3651 he weakenethH7503 the handsH3027 of the menH582 of warH4421 that remainH7604 in this cityH5892, and the handsH3027 of all the peopleH5971, in speakingH1696 such wordsH1697 unto them: for this manH376 seekethH1875 not the welfareH7965 of this peopleH5971, but the hurtH7451.1
5Then ZedekiahH6667 the kingH4428 saidH559, Behold, he is in your handH3027: for the kingH4428 is not he that canH3201 do any thingH1697 against you.
6Then tookH3947 they JeremiahH3414, and castH7993 him into the dungeonH953 of MalchiahH4441 the sonH1121 of HammelechH4428, that was in the courtH2691 of the prisonH4307: and they let downH7971 JeremiahH3414 with cordsH2256. And in the dungeonH953 there was no waterH4325, but mireH2916: so JeremiahH3414 sunkH2883 in the mireH2916.2
