Jeremiah 31:1-9
1At that timeH6256, saith Jehovah, will I beH1961 the GodH430 of all the familiesH4940 of IsraelH3478, and they shall beH1961 my peopleH5971. 2ThusH3541 saith Jehovah, The peopleH5971 that were left of the swordH2719 foundH4672 favorH2580 in the wildernessH4057; even IsraelH3478, when I wentH1980 to cause him to restH7280. 3Jehovah appearedH7200 of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have lovedH157 thee with an everlasting loveH157: thereforeH3651 with lovingkindness have I drawnH4900 thee. 4AgainH5750 will I buildH1129 thee, and thou shalt be builtH1129, O virginH1330 of IsraelH3478: againH5750 shalt thou be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt goH3318 forthH3318 in the dances of them that make merry. 5AgainH5750 shalt thou plantH5193 vineyardsH3754 upon the mountainsH2022 of SamariaH8111; the planters shall plantH5193, and shall enjoy the fruit thereof. 6For there shall be a dayH3117, that the watchmenH5341 upon the hillsH2022 of EphraimH669 shall cry, AriseH6965 ye, and let us goH5927 up to ZionH6726 unto Jehovah our GodH430.
7For thusH3541 saith Jehovah, SingH7442 with gladnessH8057 for JacobH3290, and shoutH7442 for the chiefH7218 of the nationsH1471: publish ye, praiseH1984 ye, and sayH559, O Jehovah, saveH3467 thy peopleH5971, the remnantH7611 of IsraelH3478. 8Behold, I will bringH935 them from the northH6828 country, and gatherH6908 them from the uttermost partsH3411 of the earthH776, and with them the blindH5787 and the lameH6455, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child togetherH3162: a greatH1419 companyH6951 shall they returnH7725 hither. 9They shall comeH935 with weepingH1065; and with supplicationsH8469 will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by rivers of watersH4325, in a straightH3477 wayH1870 wherein they shall not stumbleH3782; for I amH1961 a fatherH1 to IsraelH3478, and EphraimH669 is my first-born.
