18and werecryingἔκραζονekrazonG2896outG2896as theysawβλέποντεςblepontesG991the smokeκαπνὸνkapnonG2586of her burningπυρώσεωςpurōseōsG4451,sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, ‘WhatτίςtisG5101cityis likeὁμοίαhomoiaG3664the greatμεγάλῃ;megalēG3173cityπόλειpoleiG4172?’

19And they threwἔβαλονebalonG906dustG5529on their headsκεφαλὰςkephalasG2776and were cryingἔκραζονekrazonG2896outG2896,weepingκλαίοντεςklaiontesG2799and mourningπενθοῦντεςpenthountesG3996,sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, ‘WoeοὐαὶouaiG3759,woeοὐαὶouaiG3759,the greatμεγάλη,megalēG3173cityπόλιςpolisG4172,in whichᾗhēG3739allπάντεςpantesG3956who hadἔχοντεςechontesG2192shipsπλοῖαploiaG4143at seaθαλάσσῃthalassēG2281becameG4147richG4147from her prosperityτιμιότητοςtimiotētosG5094, for inoneμιᾷmiaG1520hourὥρᾳhōraG5610she has been laidG2049wasteG2049!’

22Andthe soundφωνὴphōnēG5456of harpistsκιθαρῳδῶνkitharōdōnG2790,musiciansμουσικῶνmousikōnG3451,fluteαὐλητῶνaulētōnG834playersG834,and trumpetersσαλπιστῶνsalpistōnG4538will neverG3756 G3361be heardἀκουσθῇakousthēaG191in you againἔτι,etiG2089;and noπᾶςpasG3756 G3361 G3956craftsmanτεχνίτηςtechnitēsG5079of anyπάσηςpasēsG3956craftτέχνηςtechnēsG5078will everG3756 G3361be foundεὑρεθῇheurethēaG2147in you againἔτι,etiG2089; and thesoundφωνὴphōnēG5456of a millμύλουmulouG3458will neverG3756 G3361be heardἀκουσθῇakousthēaG191in you againἔτι,etiG2089;

24And in her was foundεὑρέθηheurethēG2147thebloodαἷμαhaimaG129of prophetsπροφητῶνprophētōnG4396and ofsaintsἁγίωνhagiōnG40, and ofallπάντωνpantōnG3956who have been slaughteredἐσφαγμένωνesphagmenōnG4969on the earthγῆς.¶gēsG1093.”
