Luke 4:35-44
35But JesusG2424 1rebukedG2008 him, sayingG3004, “Be quietG5392 and comeG1831 out of him!” And when the demonG1140 had thrownG4496 him downG4496 in the midstG3319 of the people, he cameG1831 out of him withoutG3367 doingG984 him anyG3367 harmG984. 36And amazementG2285 cameG1096 upon them allG3956, and they began talkingG4814 with oneG240 anotherG240 sayingG3004, “WhatG5101 is 2thisG3778 messageG3056? For 3with authorityG1849 and powerG1411 He commandsG2004 the uncleanG169 spiritsG4151 and they comeG1831 out.” 37And 4the reportG2279 aboutG4012 Him was spreadingG1607 into everyG3956 localityG5117 in the surroundingG4066 districtG4066.
385ThenG2532 He gotG450 up and left the synagogueG4864, and enteredG1525 Simon’sG4613 homeG3614. NowG1161 Simon’sG4613 mother-in-lawG3994 was 6sufferingG4912 from a highG3173 feverG4446, and they askedG2065 Him 7to helpG4012 her. 39And standingG2186 overG1883 her, He 8rebukedG2008 the feverG4446, and it leftG863 her; and she immediatelyG3916 gotG450 up and 9waitedG1247 on them.
4010While 11the sunG2246 was settingG1416, allG537 thoseG3745 whoG3745 hadG2192 any who were sickG770 with variousG4164 diseasesG3554 broughtG71 them to Him; and 12layingG2007 His handsG5495 on eachG1538 oneG1520 of them, He was 13healingG2323 them. 41DemonsG1140 alsoG2532 were comingG1831 out of manyG4183, shoutingG2905, “You are 14the SonG5207 of GodG2316!” But 15rebukingG2008 them, He would 16not allowG1439 them to speakG2980, becauseG3754 they knewG3609 Him to be 17the ChristG5547.
4218When dayG2250 cameG1096, Jesus leftG1831 and wentG4198 to a secludedG2048 placeG5117; and the crowdsG3793 were searchingG1934 for Him, and cameG2064 to Him and tried to keepG2722 Him from goingG4198 awayG4198 from them. 43But He saidG3004 to them, “I mustG1163 preachG2097 the kingdomG932 of GodG2316 to the otherG2087 citiesG4172 alsoG2532, 19for I was sentG649 for thisG3778 purpose.”
44SoG2532 He kept on preachingG2784 in the synagoguesG4864 20of 21JudeaG2453.
