3You 7turnH7725 manH582 backH7725 into dustH1793 And sayH559, “ReturnH7725, O childrenH1121 of menH120.”4For 8a thousandH505 yearsH8141 in Your sightH5869 Are like 9yesterdayH3117H8543 whenH3588 it passesH5674 by, 10Or as a 11watchH821 in the nightH3915.5You 12have 13sweptH2229 them awayH2229 likeH2229 a floodH2229, they 1415fallH1961 asleepH8142; In the morningH1242 they are like 16grassH2682 which 17sproutsH2498 anewH2498.6In the morningH1242 it 18flourishesH6692 and 19sproutsH2498 anewH2498; Toward eveningH6153 it 20fadesH4448 and 21withersH3001 away.

7For we have beenH3615 22consumedH3615 by Your angerH639 And by Your wrathH2534 we have been 23dismayedH926.8You have 24placedH7896 our iniquitiesH5771 beforeH5048 You, Our 25secretH5956 sins in the lightH3974 of Your presenceH6440.9For 26allH3605 our daysH3117 have declinedH6437 in Your furyH5678; We have finishedH3615 our yearsH8141 likeH3644 a 27sighH1899.10As for the daysH3117 of our 28lifeH8141, 29they contain seventyH7657 yearsH8141, Or ifH518 due to strengthH1369, 30eightyH8084 yearsH8141, Yet their prideH7296 is but 31laborH5999 and sorrowH205; For soonH2440 it is goneH1468 and we 32flyH5774 awayH5774.11WhoH4310 33understandsH3045 the 34powerH5797 of Your angerH639 And Your furyH5678, according to the 35fearH3374 36that is due You?12SoH3651 37teachH3045 us to numberH4487 our daysH3117, That we may 3839presentH935 to You a heartH3824 of wisdomH2451.

13Do 40returnH7725, O LordH3068; 41howH4970 longH5704H4970 will it be? And 42be 43sorryH5162 for Your servantsH5650.14O 44satisfyH7646 us in the morningH1242 with Your lovingkindnessH2617, That we may 45singH7442 for joyH7442 and be gladH8055 allH3605 our daysH3117.1546MakeH8055 us gladH8055 47according to the daysH3117 You have afflictedH6031 us, And the 48yearsH8141 we have seenH7200 49evilH7463.16Let Your 50workH6467 appearH7200 to Your servantsH5650 And Your 51majestyH1926 52to their childrenH1121.17Let the 53favorH5278 of the LordH136 our GodH430 be upon us; And 5455confirmH3559 for us the workH4639 of our handsH3027; Yes, 56confirmH3559 the workH4639 of our handsH3027.
