3You 7turnH7725 mortalsH582 backH7725 into dustH1793 And sayH559, “ReturnH7725, you sonsH1121 of mankindH120.”4For 8a thousandH505 yearsH8141 in Your sightH5869 Are like 9yesterdayH3117H8543 whenH3588 it passesH5674 byH5674, 10Or like a 11watchH821 in the nightH3915.5You 12have 13sweptH2229 them awayH2229 likeH2229 aH2229 floodH2229, they 1415fallH1961 asleepH8142; In the morningH1242 they are like 16grassH2682 that 17sproutsH2498 anewH2498.6In the morningH1242 it 18flourishesH6692 and 19sproutsH2498 anewH2498; Toward eveningH6153 it 20wiltsH4448 and 21withersH3001 away.

7For we have been 22consumedH3615 by Your angerH639, And we have been terrifiedH926 by Your wrathH2534.8You have 23placedH7896 our guiltyH5771 deedsH5771 beforeH5048 You, Our 24hiddenH5956 sins in the lightH3974 of Your presenceH6440.9For 25allH3605 our daysH3117 have dwindledH6437 awayH6437 in Your furyH5678; We have finishedH3615 our yearsH8141 likeH3644 a 26sighH1899.10As for the daysH3117 of our 27lifeH8141, 28they contain seventyH7657 yearsH8141, Or ifH518 due to strengthH1369, 29eightyH8084 yearsH8141, Yet their prideH7296 is only 30troubleH5999 and tragedyH205; For it quicklyH2439 passesH1468, and we 31disappearH5774.11WhoH4310 32understandsH3045 the 33powerH5797 of Your angerH639 And Your furyH5678, according to the 34fearH3374 35that is due You?12SoH3651 36teachH3045 us to numberH4487 our daysH3117, That we may 3738presentH935 to You a heartH3824 of wisdomH2451.

13Do 39returnH7725, LordH3068; 40howH4970 longH5704H4970 will it be? And 41beH5162 42sorryH5162 for Your servantsH5650.1443SatisfyH7646 us in the morningH1242 with Your graciousnessH2617, That we may 44singH7442 forH7442 joyH7442 and rejoiceH8055 allH3605 our daysH3117.1545MakeH8055 us gladH8055 46according to the daysH3117 You have afflictedH6031 us, And the 47yearsH8141 we have seenH7200 48evilH7463.16Let Your 49workH6467 appearH7200 to Your servantsH5650 And Your 50majestyH1926 51to their childrenH1121.17May the 52kindnessH5278 of the LordH136 our GodH430 be upon us; And 5354confirmH3559 for us the workH4639 of our handsH3027; Yes, 55confirmH3559 the workH4639 of our handsH3027.
