Darby Bible
Luke 20:9-15
9And he beganG757 to speakG3004 to the peopleG2992 this parableG3850: A manG444 plantedG5452 a vineyardG290 and let it out to husbandmen, and left the country for a long timeG5550.
10And in the seasonG2540 he sentG649 to the husbandmen a bondman, that they might giveG1325 to him of the fruitG2590 of the vineyardG290; but the husbandmen, having beatenG1194 him, sentG649 [him] awayG1821 emptyG2756.
11And again he sentG3992 another bondman; but they, having beatenG1194 him alsoG2532, and cast insult upon him, sentG3992 [him] awayG1821 emptyG2756.
12And again he sentG3992 a thirdG5154; and they, having woundedG5135 him alsoG2532, castG1544 [him] out.
13And the lordG2962 of the vineyardG290 saidG3004, What shall I do? I will sendG3992 my belovedG27 sonG5207: perhaps when they see him they will respectG1788 [him].
14But when the husbandmen sawG3708 him, they reasonedG1260 among themselves, sayingG3004, This isG1510 the heirG2818; [comeG1096,] let us killG615 him, that the inheritanceG2817 may becomeG1096 ours.
15And having castG1544 him forth out of the vineyardG290, they killedG615 [him]. What thereforeG3767 shall the lordG2962 of the vineyardG290 do to them?
