John 9:18-23
The JewsG2453 thereforeG3767 did not believeG4100 concerningG4012 him that he wasG1510 blindG5185 and had receivedG308 sightG308, until they had calledG5455 the parentsG1118 of him that had receivedG308 sightG308.
And they askedG2065 them sayingG3004, This isG1510 your sonG5207, of whom ye sayG3004 that he wasG1510 bornG1080 blindG5185: howG4459 then does he now seeG991?
His parentsG1118 answeredG611 [them] and saidG3004, We know that this isG1510 our sonG5207, and that he wasG1510 bornG1080 blindG5185;
but howG4459 he nowG1161 seesG991 we do not know, or who has openedG455 his eyesG3788 we do not know. He is of ageG2244: askG2065 him; he will speakG2980 concerningG4012 himself.
His parentsG1118 saidG3004 these thingsG3778 because they fearedG5399 the JewsG2453, for the JewsG2453 had alreadyG2235 agreed that if any oneG5100 confessedG3670 him [to be the] ChristG5547, he should be excommunicated from the synagogueG656.
On this accountG1223 his parentsG1118 saidG3004, He is of ageG2244: askG1905 him.
