Samuel 6:1-9

And the arkH727 of Jehovah wasH1961 in the countryH7704 of the PhilistinesH6430 sevenH7651 monthsH2320.

And the PhilistinesH6430 calledH7121 for the priestsH3548 and the divinersH7080, sayingH559, What shall we do with the arkH727 of Jehovah? tell us wherewith we shall sendH7971 it to its placeH4725.

And they saidH559, If ye sendH7971 awayH5493 the arkH727 of the 1GodH430 of IsraelH3478, sendH7971 it not emptyH7387; ye must at any rate returnH7725 him a trespass-offering: thenH227 ye shall be healedH7495, and it shall be knownH3045 to you whyH4100 his handH3027 is not removedH5493 from you.

Then they saidH559, What is the trespass-offering which we shall returnH7725 to him? And they saidH559, FiveH2568 golden hemorrhoids, and fiveH2568 golden miceH5909, the numberH4557 of the lords of the PhilistinesH6430; for oneH259 plagueH4046 is upon them all, and upon your lords.

And ye shall makeH5414 imagesH6754 of your hemorrhoids, and imagesH6754 of your miceH5909 that destroyH7843 the landH776, and giveH5414 gloryH3519 to the 2GodH430 of IsraelH3478: perhapsH194 he will lightenH7043 his handH3027 from off you, and from off your 3godsH430, and from off your landH776.

And whyH4100 will ye harden your heartH3820, as the EgyptiansH4713 and PharaohH6547 hardened their heartH3820? WhenH834 he had wrought mightily among them, did they not let them goH7971, and they departed?

And nowH6258 makeH6213 a newH2319 cartH5699, and takeH3947 twoH8147 milch kine, on which there has comeH5927 no yokeH5923, and tie the kine to the cartH5699, and bringH7725 their calves home from them;

and takeH3947 the arkH727 of Jehovah, and lay it upon the cartH5699, and the golden jewels, which ye returnH7725 him as a trespass-offering, putH5414 in the coffer by the sideH6654 thereof; and sendH7971 it awayH7971 that it may goH1980.

And seeH7200, if it goH5927 up by the wayH1870 of its own borderH1366 to Beth-shemeshH1053, it is he who has done us this greatH1419 evilH7451; if not, then we shall knowH3045 that it is not his handH3027 that touchedH5060 us; it wasH1961 a chanceH4745 [that] happened to us.
