13 And a person said G3004 to him out of the crowd ὄχλου ochlou G3793 , Teacher διδάσκαλε, didaskale G1320 , speak G3004 to my brother ἀδελφῷ adelphō G80 to divide the inheritance κληρονομίαν. klēronomian G2817 with me . 14 But he said G3004 to him , Man ἄνθρωπε, anthrōpe G444 , who established me [ as ] a judge κριτὴν kritēn G2923 or a divider over you ? 15 And he said G3004 to them , Take heed and keep φυλάσσεσθε phulassesthe G5442 yourselves from all covetousness πλεονεξίας, pleonexias G4124 , for [ it is G1510 ] not because a man is G1510 in abundance G4052 [ that ] his life ζωὴ zōē G2222 is G1510 in his possessions ὑπαρχόντων huparchontōn G5225 . 16 And he spoke G3004 a parable παραβολὴν parabolēn G3850 to them , saying λέγων· legōn G3004 , The land G5561 of a certain τινὸς tinos G5100 rich πλουσίου plousiou G4145 man ἀνθρώπου anthrōpou G444 brought forth abundantly. 17 And he reasoned διελογίζετο dielogizeto G1260 within himself saying λέγων· legōn G3004 , What shall I do ? for I have not [ a place ] where ποῦ pou G4226 I shall lay up my fruits καρπούς karpous G2590 . 18 And he said G3004 , This will I do : I will take away my granaries and build οἰκοδομήσω oikodomēsō G3618 greater G3173 , and there I will lay up all my produce G4160 and my good G18 things G3778 ; 20 But God θεός· theos G2316 said G3004 to him , Fool ἄφρων, aphrōn G878 , this night νυκτὶ nukti G3571 thy soul ψυχήν psuchēn G5590 shall be ἔσται; estai G1510 required of thee; and whose shall be G1510 what thou hast prepared ἡτοίμασας, hētoimasas G2090 ? 21 Thus G3779 is he who lays up treasure for himself , and is not rich πλουτῶν. ploutōn G4147 toward God θεὸν theon G2316 . 22 And he said λέγω legō G3004 to his disciples G3101 , For this cause I say G3004 unto you , Be not careful for life ψυχῇ psuchēa G5590 , what ye shall eat G2068 , nor for the body σώματι sōmati G4983 , what ye shall put ἐνδύσησθε. endusēsthe G1746 on .
