Mark 12:18-27

18ThenG2532 the SadduceesG4523, whoG3748 sayG3004 there isG1510 noG3361 resurrectionG386, cameG2064 toG4314 Jesus andG2532 questionedG1905 HimG846: 19“TeacherG1320, MosesG3475 wroteG1125 for usG1473 thatG3754 ifG1437 a man’sG5100 brotherG80 diesG599 andG2532 leavesG2641 a wifeG1135 butG2532 noG3361 childrenG5043, the man is to marryG2983 his brother’s widowG1135 andG2532 raise upG1817 offspringG4690 forG3588 him.1 20Now there wereG1510 sevenG2033 brothersG80. TheG3588 firstG4413 one marriedG2983G1135 andG2532 diedG599, leavingG863 noG3756 childrenG4690. 21ThenG2532 theG3588 secondG1208 one marriedG2983 the widow, but he also diedG2532G599 and leftG2641 noG3361 childrenG4690. AndG2532 theG3588 thirdG5154 did likewiseG5615. 22In this wayG2532, noneG3756 of theG3588 sevenG2033 leftG863 any childrenG4690. AndG2532 lastG2078 of allG3956, theG3588 womanG1135 diedG599. 23InG1722 theG3588 resurrectionG386, then,2 whoseG5101G846 wifeG1135 will she beG1510? ForG1063 all sevenG2033 wereG2192 marriedG1135 to herG846.”

JesusG2424 saidG5346 to themG846, “Aren’t you mistakenG3778G4105G3756, becauseG1223 you do not knowG3361G1492 theG3588 ScripturesG1124 or theG3588 powerG1411 of GodG2316? 25WhenG3752 the dead riseG450G1537G3498, they will neither marryG3777G1060 norG3777 be given in marriageG1061. InsteadG235, they will beG1510 likeG5613 the angelsG32 inG1722 heavenG3772.

26ButG1161 concerningG4012 theG3588 deadG3498 risingG1453, have you not readG3756G314 aboutG1909 theG3588 burning bushG942 inG1722 theG3588 BookG976 of MosesG3475, howG4459 GodG2316 toldG2036 himG846, ‘IG1473 am theG3588 GodG2316 of AbrahamG11, theG3588 GodG2316 of IsaacG2464, andG2532 theG3588 GodG2316 of JacobG2384’3? 27He isG1510 notG3756 the GodG2316 of the deadG3498, butG235 of the livingG2198. You are badly mistakenG4183G4105!”
