8You uprootedתַּסִּ֑יעַta.Si.a'H5265a vineגֶּ֭פֶןGe.fenH1612from Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֣יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714;You drove outתְּגָרֵ֥שׁte.ga.ReshH1644the nationsגּ֝וֹיִ֗םgo.YimH1471and transplanted itוַתִּטָּעֶֽהָ׃va.ti.ta.'E.haH5193.

9You cleared the groundפִּנִּ֥יתָpi.Ni.taH6437for itלְפָנֶ֑יהָle.fa.Nei.haH6440,and it tookוַתַּשְׁרֵ֥שׁva.tash.ReshH8327rootשָׁ֝רָשֶׁ֗יהָSha.ra.Shei.haH8328and filledוַתְּמַלֵּא־va.te.ma.le'-H4390the landאָֽרֶץ׃'A.retzH776.

10The mountainsהָרִ֣יםha.RimH2022were coveredכָּסּ֣וּka.SuH3680by its shadeצִלָּ֑הּtzi.LahH6738,and the mightyאֵֽל׃'ElH410cedarsאַֽרְזֵי־'ar.zei-H730with its branchesוַ֝עֲנָפֶ֗יהָva.'a.na.Fei.haH6057.

11It sent outתְּשַׁלַּ֣חte.sha.LachH7971its branchesקְצִירֶ֣הָke.tzi.Re.haH7105toעַד־'ad-H5704the Seaיָ֑םYamH3220,and its shootsיֽוֹנְקוֹתֶֽיהָ׃Yon.ko.Tei.haH3127towardוְאֶל־ve.'el-H413the Riverנָ֝הָ֗רna.HarH5104.

12Whyלָ֭מָּהLa.mahH4100have You broken downפָּרַ֣צְתָּpa.Ratz.taH6555its wallsגְדֵרֶ֑יהָge.de.Rei.haH1447,so that allכָּל־kol-H3605who pass byעֹ֥בְרֵי דָֽרֶךְ׃oe.rei Da.rekhH5674 H1870pick its fruitוְ֝אָר֗וּהָve.'a.Ru.haH717?

18Then we will notוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808turn awayנָס֥וֹגna.SogH5472from Youמִמֶּ֑ךָּmi.Me.kaH4480;revive usתְּ֝חַיֵּ֗נוּte.chai.Ye.nuH2421,and we will callנִקְרָֽא׃nik.Ra'H7121on Your nameוּבְשִׁמְךָ֥u.ve.shim.KhaH8034.
