18Surelyאַ֣ךְ'akhH389You setתָּשִׁ֣יתta.ShitH7896themon slick groundבַּ֭חֲלָקוֹתBa.cha.la.kotH2513;You cast them downהִ֝פַּלְתָּ֗םhi.pal.TamH5307into ruinלְמַשּׁוּאֽוֹת׃le.ma.shu.'otH4876.

19Howאֵ֤יךְ'eikhH349suddenlyכְרָ֑גַעkhe.Ra.ga'H7281they areהָי֣וּha.YuH1961laid wasteלְשַׁמָּ֣הle.sha.MahH8047,completelyתַ֝֗מּוּTa.muH8552swept awayסָ֥פוּSa.fuH5486byמִן־min-H4480terrorsבַּלָּהֽוֹת׃ba.la.HotH1091!

20Like one wakingמֵהָקִ֑יץme.ha.KitzH6974from a dreamכַּחֲל֥וֹםka.cha.LomH2472,so You, O Lordאֲ֝דֹנָי'A.do.naiH136,awakenבָּעִ֤יר׀ba.'IrH5782anddespiseתִּבְזֶֽה׃tiv.ZehH959their formצַלְמָ֬םtzal.MamH6754.

21Whenכִּ֭יkiH3588my heartלְבָבִ֑יle.va.ViH3824was grievedיִתְחַמֵּ֣ץyit.cha.MetzH2556and I was piercedאֶשְׁתּוֹנָֽן׃'esh.to.NanH8150withinוְ֝כִלְיוֹתַ֗יve.khil.yo.TaiH3629,

24You guide meתַנְחֵ֑נִיtan.Che.niH5148with Your counselבַּעֲצָתְךָ֥ba.'a.tza.te.KhaH6098,and laterוְ֝אַחַ֗רve.'a.CharH310receive meתִּקָּחֵֽנִי׃ti.ka.Che.niH3947in gloryכָּב֥וֹדka.VodH3519.
