John 1:19-37

19And this isG1510 the witnessG3141 of JohnG2491, whenG3753 the JewsG2453 sentG649 unto him from JerusalemG2414 priestsG2409 and Levites to askG2065 him, Who art thou? 20And he confessedG3670, and deniedG720 not; and he confessedG3670, I amG1510 not the ChristG5547. 21And they askedG2065 him, What then? Art thou ElijahG2243? And he saith, I amG1510 not. Art thou the prophetG4396? And he answeredG611, No. 22They saidG3004 thereforeG3767 unto him, Who art thou? that we may giveG1325 an answerG612 to them that sentG3992 us. 29On the morrow he seeth JesusG2424 comingG2064 unto him, and saith, BeholdG2396, the LambG286 of GodG2316, that taketh awayG142 the sinG266 of the worldG2889! 30This isG1510 he of whom I saidG3004, After me cometh a manG435 who isG1510 becomeG1096 before me: for he wasG1510 before me. 31And I knew him not; but that he should be madeG5319 manifestG5319 to IsraelG2474, for this cause cameG2064 I baptizingG907 in waterG5204. 32And JohnG2491 bare witnessG3140, sayingG3004, I have beheld the SpiritG4151 descendingG2597 as a doveG4058 out of heavenG3772; and it abode upon him. 33And I knew him not: but he that sentG3992 me to baptizeG907 in waterG5204, he saidG3004 unto me, Upon whomsoever thou shalt seeG3708 the SpiritG4151 descendingG2597, and abidingG3306 upon him, the sameG846 isG1510 he that baptizeth in the HolyG40 SpiritG4151. 34And I have seenG3708, and have borne witnessG3140 that this isG1510 the SonG5207 of GodG2316.

35AgainG3825 on the morrow JohnG2491 was standingG2476, and twoG1417 of his disciplesG3101; 36and he looked upon JesusG2424 as he walkedG4043, and saith, BeholdG2396, the LambG286 of GodG2316! 37And the twoG1417 disciplesG3101 heardG191 him speakG2980, and they followedG190 JesusG2424.
