Jeremiah 48:26-35
26MakeH1431 ye him drunken; for he magnifiedH1431 himself against Jehovah: and MoabH4124 shall wallow in his vomitH6892, and he alsoH1571 shall beH1961 in derision. 27For wasH1961 not IsraelH3478 a derision unto thee? wasH1961 he foundH4672 among thievesH1590? for as oftenH1767 as thou speakest of him, thou waggest the head. 28O ye inhabitantsH3427 of MoabH4124, leaveH5800 the citiesH5892, and dwellH3427 in the rockH5553; and beH1961 like the doveH3123 that maketh her nest over the mouthH6310 of the abyss. 29We have heardH8085 of the prideH1346 of MoabH4124, that he is veryH3966 proudH1343; his loftiness, and his prideH1346, and his arrogancy, and the haughtinessH7312 of his heartH3820. 30I knowH3045 his wrathH5678, saith Jehovah, that it is nought; his boastings have wrought nothing. 31ThereforeH3651 will I wailH3213 for MoabH4124; yea, I will cryH2199 out for all MoabH4124: for the menH376 of Kir-heres shall they mourn. 32With more than the weepingH1065 of JazerH3270 will I weepH1058 for thee, O vineH1612 of SibmahH7643: thy branches passedH5674 over the seaH3220, they reachedH5060 even to the seaH3220 of JazerH3270: upon thy summerH7019 fruits and upon thy vintage the destroyerH7703 is fallenH5307. 33And gladnessH8057 and joyH8057 is taken away from the fruitful field and from the landH776 of MoabH4124; and I have caused wineH3196 to ceaseH7673 from the winepressesH3342: none shall treadH1869 with shoutingH1959; the shoutingH1959 shall be no shoutingH1959. 34From the cryH2201 of HeshbonH2809 even unto ElealehH500, even unto JahazH3096 have they uttered their voiceH6963, from ZoarH6820 even unto HoronaimH2773, to Eglath-shelishiyah: for the watersH4325 of NimrimH5249 alsoH1571 shall becomeH1961 desolate. 35Moreover I will cause to ceaseH7673 in MoabH4124, saith Jehovah, him that offereth in the highH1116 placeH1116, and him that burneth incenseH6999 to his godsH430.
