Jeremiah 17:9-13
9The heartH3820 is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can knowH3045 it? 10I, Jehovah, searchH2713 the mind, I try the heartH3820, even to giveH5414 every manH376 according to his waysH1870, according to the fruitH6529 of his doings. 11As the partridgeH7124 that sitteth on eggs which she hath not laid, so is he that getteth richesH6239, and not by rightH4941; in the midst of his daysH3117 they shall leaveH5800 him, and at his endH319 he shall beH1961 a foolH5036.
12A glorious throneH3678, seton highH4791 from the beginning, is the placeH4725 of our sanctuaryH4720. 13O Jehovah, the hope of IsraelH3478, all that forsakeH5800 thee shall be putH954 to shameH954. They that depart from me shall be writtenH3789 in the earthH776, because they have forsaken Jehovah, the fountainH4726 of living watersH4325.
