Jeremiah 16:9-13
9For thusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478: Behold, I will cause to ceaseH7673 out of this placeH4725, before your eyesH5869 and in your daysH3117, the voiceH6963 of mirth and the voiceH6963 of gladnessH8057, the voiceH6963 of the bridegroom and the voiceH6963 of the brideH3618.
10And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt show this peopleH5971 all these wordsH1697, and they shall sayH559 unto thee, Wherefore hath Jehovah pronounced all this greatH1419 evilH7451 against us? or what is our iniquityH5771? or what is our sinH2398 that we have committed against Jehovah our GodH430? 11then shalt thou sayH559 unto them, Because your fathersH1 have forsaken me, saith Jehovah, and have walked after otherH312 godsH430, and have servedH5647 them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not keptH8104 my lawH8451; 12and ye have done evilH7451 more than your fathersH1; for, behold, ye walkH1980 every oneH376 after the stubbornnessH8307 of his evilH7451 heartH3820, so that ye hearken not unto me: 13therefore will I cast you forth out of this landH776 into the landH776 that ye have not knownH3045, neither ye nor your fathersH1; and there shall ye serveH5647 otherH312 godsH430 dayH3119 and nightH3915; for I will show you no favor.
