Mark 1:21-34
211They wentG1531 into CapernaumG2746; and immediatelyG2117 on the SabbathG4521 Jesus 2enteredG1525 the synagogueG4864 and began to teachG1321. 22And 3they were amazedG1605 at His teachingG1322; for He was teachingG1321 them as one havingG2192 authorityG1849, and not as the scribesG1122. 23JustG2117 thenG2117 there was a manG444 in their synagogueG4864 with an uncleanG169 spiritG4151; and he criedG349 outG349, 24sayingG3004, “4WhatG5101 5business do You have with us, JesusG2424 6of 7NazarethG3479? Have You comeG2064 to destroyG622 us? I knowG3609 whoG5101 You are: 8the HolyG40 OneG40 of GodG2316!” 25And JesusG2424 rebukedG2008 him, sayingG3004, “Be quietG5392, and comeG1831 outG1831 of him!” 26After throwingG4682 him intoG4682 convulsionsG4682 and cryingG5455 outG5455 with a loudG3173 voiceG5456, the uncleanG169 spiritG4151 cameG1831 outG1831 of him. 27And they were allG537 9amazedG2284, soG5620 they debatedG4802 among themselvesG846, sayingG3004, “WhatG5101 is thisG3778? A newG2537 teachingG1322 with authorityG1849! He commandsG2004 evenG2532 the uncleanG169 spiritsG4151, and they obeyG5219 Him.” 28ImmediatelyG2117 the newsG189 about Him spreadG1831 everywhereG3837 into allG3650 the surroundingG4066 regionG4066 of GalileeG1056.
2910And immediatelyG2117 after they leftG2064 11the synagogueG4864, they enteredG2064 the houseG3614 of SimonG4613 and AndrewG406, with 12JamesG2385 and JohnG2491. 30NowG1161 Simon’sG4613 mother-in-lawG3994 was lyingG2621 sickG2621 with a feverG4445; and they immediatelyG2117 spokeG3004 to 13Jesus aboutG4012 her. 31And He cameG4334 to her and raisedG1453 her upG1453, takingG2902 her by the handG5495, and the feverG4446 leftG863 her, and she servedG1247 them.
32NowG1161 14when eveningG3798 cameG1096, 15afterG3753 the sunG2246 had setG1416, they began bringingG5342 to Him allG3956 who were illG2192G2560 and thoseG3588 who were 16demon-possessedG1139. 33And the wholeG3650 17cityG4172 had gatheredG1996 at the doorG2374. 34And He 18healedG2323 manyG4183 who were illG2192G2560 with variousG4164 diseasesG3554, and castG1544 outG1544 manyG4183 demonsG1140; and He would not permitG863 the demonsG1140 to speakG2980, becauseG3754 they knewG3609 19who He was.
