21They wentεἰσπορεύονταιeisporeuontaiG1531into CapernaumG2746;and immediatelyG2117on the SabbathσάββασινsabbasinG4521JesusenteredεἰσελθὼνeiselthōnG1525the synagogueσυναγωγὴνsunagōgēnG4864and beganto teachἐδίδασκεν.edidaskenG1321.

22Andthey were amazedἐξεπλήσσοντοexeplēssontoG1605at His teachingδιδαχῇdidachēaG1322;for He was teachingδιδάσκωνdidaskōnG1321them as onehavingἔχωνechōnG2192authorityἐξουσίανexousianG1849,and not as the scribesγραμματεῖς.¶grammateisG1122.

23JustG2117thenG2117there was a manἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444in their synagogueσυναγωγῇsunagōgēaG4864with an uncleanἀκαθάρτῳakathartōG169spiritπνεύματιpneumatiG4151;and he criedG349outG349,

24sayingλέγων·legōnG3004, “WhatτίtiG5101business do You have with us, JesusἸησοῦIēsouG2424ofNazarethΝαζαρηνέ;NazarēneG3479?Have You comeἦλθεςēlthesG2064to destroyἀπολέσαιapolesaiG622us? I knowG3609whoτίςtisG5101You are:the HolyἅγιοςhagiosG40OneG40of Godθεοῦ.theouG2316!”

25And JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424rebukedἐπετίμησενepetimēsenG2008him, sayingλέγων·legōnG3004,“Be quietφιμώθητιphimōthētiG5392,and comeἔξελθεexeltheG1831outG1831of him!”

26After throwingG4682him intoG4682convulsionsσπαράξανsparaxanG4682and cryingG5455outG5455with a loudμεγάλῃmegalēG3173voiceφωνῇphōnēaG5456,the uncleanἀκάθαρτονakathartonG169spiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151cameG1831outG1831of him.

27And they were allἅπαντεςhapantesG537amazedἐθαμβήθησανethambēthēsanG2284,soὥστεhōsteG5620they debatedσυζητεῖνsuzēteinG4802among themselvesαὐτῷ.¶autōG846,sayingλέγοντας·legontasG3004, “WhatτίtiG5101is thisτοῦτο;toutoG3778?A newκαινὴkainēG2537teachingδιδαχὴdidachēG1322with authorityἐξουσίαν·exousianG1849!He commandsἐπιτάσσει,epitasseiG2004evenG2532the uncleanἀκαθάρτοιςakathartoisG169spiritsπνεύμασινpneumasinG4151,and they obeyὑπακούουσινhupakouousinG5219Him.”

28ImmediatelyG2117the newsἀκοὴakoēG189about Him spreadἐξῆλθενexēlthenG1831everywhereπανταχοῦpantachouG3837into allὅληνholēnG3650the surroundingπερίχωρονperichōronG4066regionG4066of GalileeΓαλιλαίας.¶GalilaiasG1056.

29And immediatelyG2117after they leftG2064the synagogueσυναγωγῆςsunagōgēsG4864,they enteredG2064the houseοἰκίανoikianG3614of SimonΣίμωνοςSimōnosG4613and AndrewἈνδρέουAndreouG406, withJamesἸακώβουIakōbouG2385and JohnἸωάννου.IōannouG2491.

30NowδὲdeG1161Simon’sΣίμωνοςSimōnosG4613mother-in-lawπενθερὰpentheraG3994was lyingG2621sickG2621with a feverπυρέσσουσα,puressousaG4445;and they immediatelyG2117spokeλέγουσινlegousinG3004toJesus aboutπερὶperiG4012her.

31And He cameπροσελθὼνproselthōnG4334to her and raisedG1453her upG1453,takingκρατήσαςkratēsasG2902her bythe handχειρόςcheirosG5495,and the feverπυρετόςpuretosG4446leftἀφῆκενaphēkenG863her, and she servedδιηκόνειdiēkoneiG1247them.

32NowδὲdeG1161when eveningὈψίαςOpsiasG3798cameγενομένης,genomenēsG1096,afterὅτεhoteG3753the sunἥλιος,hēliosG2246had setἔδυeduG1416, they beganbringingἔφερονepheronG5342to Him allπάνταςpantasG3956who were illκακῶς ἔχονταςkakōs echontasG2192 G2560and thoseG3588who weredemon-possessedδαιμονιζομένους·daimonizomenousG1139.

33And the wholeὅληholēG3650cityπόλιςpolisG4172had gatheredἐπισυνηγμένηepisunēgmenēG1996at the doorθύραν.thuranG2374.

34And HehealedἐθεράπευσενetherapeusenG2323manyπολλοὺςpollousG4183who were illκακῶς ἔχονταςkakōs echontasG2192 G2560with variousποικίλαιςpoikilaisG4164diseasesνόσοιςnosoisG3554,and castἐξέβαλενexebalenG1544outG1544manyπολλὰpollaG4183demonsδαιμόνιαdaimoniaG1140;and He would not permitἤφιενēphienG863the demonsδαιμόνιαdaimoniaG1140to speakλαλεῖνlaleinG2980,becauseὅτιhotiG3754they knewG3609who He was.
