Preach the Word

11I solemnlyG1263 exhortG1263 you inG1799 theG1799 presenceG1799 ofG1799 GodG2316 and of ChristG5547 JesusG2424, who is to 2judgeG2919 the livingG2198 and the deadG3498, and by His 3appearingG2015 and His kingdomG932: 2preachG2784 4the wordG3056; be readyG2186 5inG2122 seasonG2122 and outG171 ofG171 seasonG171; 6correctG1651, rebukeG2008, and 7exhortG3870, with 8greatG3956 9patienceG3115 and instructionG1322. 3For 10the timeG2540 will comeG1510 whenG3753 they will not tolerateG430 11soundG5198 doctrineG1319; but wanting to have their earsG189 tickledG2833, they will accumulateG2002 for themselvesG1438 teachersG1320 inG2596 accordanceG2596 withG2596 their ownG2398 desiresG1939, 4and they 12will turnG654 their earsG189 awayG654 from the truthG225 and 13will turnG1624 asideG1624 to mythsG3454. 5But as for you, 14useG3525 self-restraintG3525 in allG3956 thingsG3956, 15endureG2553 hardshipG2553, doG4160 the workG2041 of an 16evangelistG2099, fulfillG4135 your 17ministryG1248.

6For I am alreadyG2235 being 18pouredG4689 outG4689 asG4689 aG4689 drinkG4689 offeringG4689, and the timeG2540 of 19my departureG359 has comeG2186. 720I have foughtG75 the goodG2570 fightG73, I have finishedG5055 21the courseG1408, I have keptG5083 22the faithG4102; 8in the futureG3062 there 23is reservedG606 for me 24the crownG4735 of righteousnessG1343, whichG3739 the LordG2962, the righteousG1342 JudgeG2923, will awardG591 to me on 25that dayG2250; and not onlyG3440 to me, but alsoG2532 to 26allG3956 who have lovedG25 His 27appearingG2015.

Personal Concerns

928MakeG4704 everyG4704 effortG4704 to comeG2064 to me soonG5030; 10for 29DemasG1214, having lovedG25 30thisG3588 presentG3568 31worldG165, has desertedG1459 me and goneG4198 to 32ThessalonicaG2332; CrescensG2913 has gone to 3334GalatiaG1053, 35TitusG5103 to DalmatiaG1149. 1136OnlyG3441 37LukeG3065 is with me. TakeG353 alongG353 38MarkG3138 and bringG71 him with you, 39for he is usefulG2173 to me for serviceG1248. 12But I have sentG649 40TychicusG5190 to 41EphesusG2181. 13When you comeG2064, bringG5342 the overcoatG5315 whichG3739 I leftG620 at 42TroasG5174 with CarpusG2591, and the booksG975, especiallyG3122 the parchmentsG3200. 1443AlexanderG223 the coppersmithG5471 didG1731 me greatG4183 harmG2556; 44the LordG2962 will repayG591 him accordingG2596 to his deedsG2041. 15Be on guardG5442 against him yourselfG4771 tooG2532, for he vigorouslyG3029 opposedG436 our 45teachingG3056.

16At my firstG4413 defenseG627 noG3762 oneG3762 supportedG3854 me, but allG3956 desertedG1459 me; 46may it not be countedG3049 against them. 17But the LordG2962 stoodG3936 with me and 47strengthenedG1743 me, soG2443 thatG2443 throughG1223 me 48the proclamationG2782 might 49be 50fullyG4135 accomplishedG4135, and that allG3956 51the GentilesG1484 might hearG191; and I was 52rescuedG4506 out of 53the lion’sG3023 mouthG4750. 18The LordG2962 will rescueG4506 me from everyG3956 evilG4190 deedG2041, and will 5455bringG4982 me safelyG4982 to His 56heavenlyG2032 kingdomG932; 57to 58Him be the gloryG1391 foreverG165 and everG165. AmenG281.

19GreetG782 PriscaG4251 and 59AquilaG207, and 60the householdG3624 of OnesiphorusG3683. 2061ErastusG2037 remainedG3306 at 62CorinthG2882, but I leftG620 63TrophimusG5161 sickG770 at 64MiletusG3399. 2165MakeG4704 everyG4704 effortG4704 to comeG2064 beforeG4253 66winterG5494. EubulusG2103 greetsG782 you, alsoG2532 PudensG4227, LinusG3044, ClaudiaG2803, and allG3956 the brothersG80 and sisters.

2267The LordG2962 be with your spiritG4151. 68GraceG5485 be with you.
