2 Timothy 4
1I testifyG1263 before 1GodG2316 and ChristG5547 JesusG2424, who is about to judgeG2919 livingG2198 and deadG3498, and by his appearingG2015 and his kingdomG932, 2proclaimG2784 the wordG3056; be urgent in season [and] out of season, convictG1651, rebukeG2008, encourageG3870, with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3For the timeG2540 shall beG1510 whenG3753 they will not bearG430 soundG5198 teachingG1319; but accordingG2596 to their ownG2398 lustsG1939 will heap up to themselves teachersG1320, having an itching ear; 4and they will turnG654 awayG654 their ear from the truthG225, and will have turnedG1624 asideG1624 to fables. 5But thou, be soberG3525 in all thingsG3956, bear evils, do [the] workG2041 of an evangelistG2099, fill up the full measure of thy ministryG1248. 6For I am alreadyG2235 being pouredG4689 out, and the timeG2540 of my release is comeG2186. 7I have combated the goodG2570 combat, I have finishedG5055 the race, I have keptG5083 the faithG4102. 8Henceforth the crownG4735 of righteousnessG1343 is laid up for me, which the LordG2962, the righteousG1342 JudgeG2923, will renderG591 to me in that dayG2250; but not onlyG3440 to me, but alsoG2532 to all who loveG25 his appearingG2015. 9Use diligence to comeG2064 to me quickly; 10for DemasG1214 has forsakenG1459 me, having lovedG25 the presentG3568 ageG165, and is goneG4198 to ThessalonicaG2332; Crescens to GalatiaG1053, TitusG5103 to Dalmatia. 11LukeG3065 aloneG3441 isG1510 with me. TakeG353 MarkG3138, and bringG71 [him] with thyself, for he isG1510 serviceable to me for ministryG1248. 12But TychicusG5190 I have sentG649 to EphesusG2181. 13The cloak which I left behind [me] in TroasG5174 at Carpus's, bringG5342 when thou comest, and the booksG975, especiallyG3122 the parchments. 14AlexanderG223 the smith did manyG4183 evilG2556 thingsG4183 against me. The LordG2962 will renderG591 to him accordingG2596 to his worksG2041. 15Against whom be thou alsoG2532 on thy guardG5442, for he has greatlyG3029 withstood our wordsG3056. 16At my firstG4413 defence no man stood with me, but all desertedG1459 me. May it not be imputed to them. 17But the LordG2962 stoodG3936 with [me], and gave me power, that through me the proclamationG2782 might be fullyG4135 made, and all [those of] the nationsG1484 should hearG191; and I was deliveredG4506 out of the lion's mouthG4750. 18The LordG2962 shall deliverG4506 me from every wickedG4190 workG2041, and shall preserve [me] for his heavenlyG2032 kingdomG932; to whom [be] gloryG1391 for the agesG165 of agesG165. AmenG281. 19Salute PriscaG4251 and AquilaG207, and the houseG3624 of OnesiphorusG3683. 20ErastusG2037 remainedG3306 in CorinthG2882, but TrophimusG5161 I left behind in MiletusG3399 sickG770. 21Use diligence to comeG2064 before winterG5494. Eubulus salutes thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and the brethren all. 22The LordG2962 Jesus Christ [be] with your spiritG4151. GraceG5485 [be] with you.
