7And there was warπόλεμοςpolemosG4171in heavenοὐρανῷ·ouranōG3772,MichaelΜιχαὴλMichaēlG3413and his angelsἄγγελοιangeloiG32wagingπολεμῆσαιpolemēsaiG4170warG4171with thedragonδράκοντος.drakontosG1404.The dragonδράκωνdrakōnG1404andhis angelsἄγγελοιangeloiG32wagedἐπολέμησενepolemēsenG4170warG4171,

8and they did not prevailἴσχυσεν,ischusenG2480,and there was noοὐδὲoudeG3761longerἔτιetiG2089a placeτόποςtoposG5117foundεὑρέθηheurethēG2147for them in heavenοὐρανῷ.ouranōG3772.

9And the greatμέγας,megasG3173dragonδράκωνdrakōnG1404was thrownἐβλήθηeblēthēG906down, theserpentὄφιςophisG3789of oldἀρχαῖος,archaiosG744who is calledκαλούμενοςkaloumenosG2564the devilδιάβολοςdiabolosG1228andSatanΣατανᾶςSatanasG4567, whodeceivesπλανῶνplanōnG4105the wholeὅλην,holēnG3650worldοἰκουμένηνoikoumenēnG3625; he wasthrownἐβλήθηeblēthēG906down to the earthγῆν,gēnG1093,and his angelsἄγγελοιangeloiG32were thrownἐβλήθησαν.eblēthēsanG906down with him.

10ThenG2532I heardἤκουσαēkousaG191a loudμεγάληνmegalēnG3173voiceφωνὴνphōnēnG5456in heavenοὐρανῷouranōG3772,sayingλέγουσαν·legousanG3004, “NowἄρτιartiG737thesalvationσωτηρίαsōtēriaG4991,and the powerδύναμιςdunamisG1411, and thekingdomβασιλείαbasileiaG932of our GodθεοῦtheouG2316and the authorityἐξουσίαexousiaG1849of His ChristχριστοῦchristouG5547have comeἐγένετοegenetoG1096, for theaccuserG2725of our brothersἀδελφῶνadelphōnG80and sistershas been thrownἐβλήθηeblēthēG906down, the one who accusesκατηγορῶνkatēgorōnG2723them beforeἐνώπιονenōpionG1799our GodθεοῦtheouG2316dayἡμέραςhēmerasG2250and nightνυκτός.nuktosG3571.

11And theyovercameἐνίκησανenikēsanG3528him becauseδιὰdiaG1223ofthe bloodαἷμαhaimaG129of the LambἀρνίουarniouG721and becauseδιὰdiaG1223ofthe wordλόγονlogonG3056of their testimonyμαρτυρίαςmarturiasG3141, and theydid not loveἠγάπησανēgapēsanG25their lifeψυχὴνpsuchēnG5590evenwhenG891facedG891withG891deathθανάτου.thanatouG2288.

12For thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778reasonδιὰdiaG1223,rejoiceεὐφραίνεσθεeuphrainestheG2165,you heavensοὐρανοὶouranoiG3772andyou who dwellσκηνοῦντες.skēnountesG4637in them.WoeοὐαὶouaiG3759to the earthγῆνgēnG1093and the seaθάλασσαν,thalassanG2281,becauseG3754the devilδιάβολοςdiabolosG1228has comeκατέβηkatebēG2597downG2597to you withἔχωνechōnG2192greatμέγανmeganG3173wrathθυμὸνthumonG2372,knowingG3609that he hasἔχει.¶echeiG2192onlya shortὀλίγονoligonG3641timeκαιρὸνkaironG2540.”

13And whenὅτεhoteG3753thedragonδράκωνdrakōnG1404sawG3708that he was thrownἐβλήθηeblēthēG906down to the earthγῆν,gēnG1093,he persecutedἐδίωξενediōxenG1377the womanγυναῖκαgunaikaG1135whoἥτιςhētisG3748gaveG5088birthG5088to the maleG733Child.

14But thetwoδύοduoG1417wingsπτέρυγεςpterugesG4420of the greatμεγάλου,megalouG3173eagleἀετοῦaetouG105were givenἐδόθησανedothēsanG1325to the womanγυναικὶgunaikiG1135,soἵναinaG2443thatG2443she could flyπέτηταιpetētaiG4072into the wildernessἔρημονerēmonG2048to her placeτόπονtoponG5117,whereὅπουhopouG3699she was nourishedτρέφεταιtrephetaiG5142fora timeκαιρὸνkaironG2540,timesκαιροὺςkairousG2540,and halfἥμισυhēmisuG2255a timeκαιροῦkairouG2540,awayἀπὸapoG575from the presenceπροσώπουprosōpouG4383of the serpentὄφεως.opheōsG3789.

15And theserpentὄφιςophisG3789hurledἔβαλενebalenG906waterὕδωρhudōrG5204likeὡςhōsG5613a riverποταμόν,potamonG4215out of his mouthστόματοςstomatosG4750afterὀπίσωopisōG3694the womanγυναικὸςgunaikosG1135,soἵναinaG2443thatG2443he might causeποιήσῃ.poiēsēG4160her to be sweptG4216awayG4216withG4216theG4216floodG4216.

16But the earthγῆgēG1093helpedἐβοήθησενeboēthēsenG997the womanγυναικὶgunaikiG1135,and the earthγῆgēG1093openedἤνοιξενēnoixenG455its mouthστόμαstomaG4750and drankG2666upG2666the riverποταμὸνpotamonG4215whichὃνhonG3739the dragonδράκωνdrakōnG1404had hurledἔβαλενebalenG906out of his mouthστόματοςstomatosG4750.

17SoG2532the dragonδράκωνdrakōnG1404wasG3710enragedG3710with the womanγυναικὶgunaikiG1135,and wentG565offG565tomakeποιῆσαιpoiēsaiG4160warπόλεμονpolemonG4171with the restλοιπῶνloipōnG3062of herchildrenσπέρματοςspermatosG4690, whokeepτηρούντωνtērountōnG5083the commandmentsἐντολὰςentolasG1785of GodθεοῦtheouG2316andholdἐχόντωνechontōnG2192to the testimonyμαρτυρίανmarturianG3141of JesusἸησοῦIēsouG2424.
