11For thisαὕτηhautēG3778is the messageἀγγελίαangeliaG31whichἣνhēnG3739you have heardἠκούσατεēkousateG191from the beginningἀρχῆςarchēsG746,that we are to loveἀγαπῶμενagapōmenG25oneἀλλήλους·allēlousG240anotherG240;

12not asCainΚάϊνKainG2535, who was ofthe evilG4190oneG4190and murderedἔσφαξενesphaxenG4969his brotherἀδελφὸνadelphonG80.And for whatτίνοςtinosG5101reasonχάρινcharinG5484did he murderἔσφαξενesphaxenG4969him? BecauseὅτιhotiG3754his owndeedsἔργαergaG2041were evilG4190,but his brother’sἀδελφοῦadelphouG80were righteousδίκαια.¶dikaiaG1342.

15EveryoneπᾶςpasG3956whohatesμισῶνmisōnG3404his brotherἀδελφὸνadelphonG80or sisteris a murdererἀνθρωποκτόνοςanthrōpoktonosG443,and you knowG3609thatnoπᾶς οὐκpas oukG3956 G3756murdererἀνθρωποκτόνοςanthrōpoktonosG443hasἔχειecheiG2192eternalαἰώνιονaiōnionG166lifeζωὴνzōēnG2222remainingμένουσαν.menousanG3306in him.
