13WhateverὅhoG3739you askαἰτήσητεaitēsēteG154in My nameὀνόματίonomatiG3686,that will I doποιήσω,poiēsōG4160,soἵναinaG2443thatthe FatherπατὴρpatērG3962may be glorifiedδοξασθῇdoxasthēaG1392in the Sonυἱῷ.huiōG5207.

14IfἐάνeanG1437you askαἰτήσητέaitēsēteG154Me anythingτιtiG5100in My nameὀνόματίonomatiG3686,I will doποιήσω.¶poiēsōG4160it.

15“IfἘὰνEanG1437you loveἀγαπᾶτέagapateG25Me, you will keepτηρήσετε.tērēseteG5083My commandmentsἐντολὰςentolasG1785.

16I will askἐρωτήσωerōtēsōG2065the Fatherπατέρα,pateraG3962,and He will giveδώσειdōseiG1325you anotherἄλλονallonG243HelperπαράκλητονparaklētonG3875,that He may be with you foreverαἰῶναaiōnaG165;

17that isthe SpiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151of truthἀληθείας,alētheiasG225,whomὃhoG3739the worldκόσμοςkosmosG2889cannotδύναταιdunataiG1410 G3756receiveλαβεῖν,labeinG2983,becauseὅτιhotiG3754it does not seeθεωρεῖtheōreiG2334Him orοὐδὲoudeG3761knowγινώσκειginōskeiG1097Him, butyou knowγινώσκετεginōsketeG1097Him becauseὅτιhotiG3754He abidesμένειmeneiG3306with you and will be in you.

18“I will not leaveἀφήσωaphēsōG863you as orphansὀρφανούς,orphanousG3737;I will comeἔρχομαιerchomaiG2064to you.

19AfterG2089a littleμικρὸνmikronG3398whileG3398the worldκόσμοςkosmosG2889will noG3765longerG3765seeθεωρεῖ,theōreiG2334Me, but you willseeθεωρεῖτέtheōreiteG2334Me;becauseὅτιhotiG3754I liveζῶ,zōG2198,you will liveζήσετε.zēseteG2198alsoG2532.

20In that dayἡμέρᾳhēmeraG2250you will knowγνώσεσθεgnōsestheG1097thatI am in My FatherπατρίpatriG3962, and you in Me, and I in you.

21He who hasἔχωνechōnG2192My commandmentsἐντολάςentolasG1785and keepsτηρῶνtērōnG5083them is the oneἐκεῖνόςekeinosG1565who lovesἀγαπῶνagapōnG25Me; andhe who lovesἀγαπῶνagapōnG25Me will be lovedἀγαπηθήσεταιagapēthēsetaiG25by My FatherπατρόςpatrosG3962,and I will loveἀγαπήσωagapēsōG25him and willdiscloseἐμφανίσωemphanisōG1718MyselfG1683to him.”

22JudasἸούδαςIoudasG2455(not IscariotἸσκαριώτης·IskariōtēsG2469)saidΛέγειLegeiG3004to Him, “Lordκύριε,kurieG2962,whatτίtiG5101thenG2532has happenedγέγονενgegonenG1096that You are goingμέλλειςmelleisG3195to discloseἐμφανίζεινemphanizeinG1718YourselfG4572to us and not to the worldκόσμῳ;¶kosmōG2889?”

23JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424answeredἈπεκρίθηApekrithēG611and saidG3004to him, “IfἐάνeanG1437anyoneτιςtisG5100lovesἀγαπᾷagapaG25Me, he willkeepτηρήσει,tērēseiG5083My wordλόγονlogonG3056; andMy FatherπατήρpatērG3962will loveἀγαπήσειagapēseiG25him, and Wewill comeἐλευσόμεθαeleusomethaG2064to him and makeποιησόμεθα.poiēsomethaG4160Our abodeμονὴνmonēnG3438with him.

24He who does not loveἀγαπῶνagapōnG25Medoes not keepτηρεῖ·tēreiG5083My wordsλόγουςlogousG3056; andthe wordλόγοςlogosG3056whichὃνhonG3739you hearἀκούετεakoueteG191is not MineG1699,but the Father’sπατρός.¶patrosG3962who sentπέμψαντόςpempsantosG3992Me.

25“TheseG3778thingsΤαῦταTautaG3778I have spokenλελάληκαlelalēkaG2980to you while abidingμένων·menōnG3306with you.
