Psalms 37:13-40
13The LordH136 laugheth at him; for he seeth that his dayH3117 is comingH935.14The wickedH7563 have drawn out the swordH2719, and have bentH1869 their bowH7198, to castH5307 down the afflictedH6041 and needyH34, to slay those that are uprightH3477 in [the] wayH1870:15their swordH2719 shall enter into their own heartH3820, and their bowsH7198 shall be brokenH7665.16The littleH4592 that the righteousH6662 hath is betterH2896 than the abundanceH1995 of manyH7227 wickedH7563;17for the armsH2220 of the wickedH7563 shall be brokenH7665, but Jehovah upholdeth the righteousH6662.18Jehovah knoweth the daysH3117 of the perfectH8549; and their inheritanceH5159 shall beH1961 for everH5769:19they shall not be ashamedH954 in the timeH6256 of evilH7451, and in the daysH3117 of famine they shall be satisfiedH7646.20For the wickedH7563 shall perishH6, and the enemiesH341 of Jehovah shall be as the fat of lambsH3733: they shall consume, like smokeH6227 shall they consume awayH3615.21The wickedH7563 borroweth, and payeth not again; but the righteousH6662 is gracious and giveth:22for those blessedH1288 of him shall possessH3423 the landH776, and they that are cursedH7043 of him shall be cutH3772 off.23The stepsH4703 of a manH1397 are establishedH3559 by Jehovah, and he delighteth in his wayH1870:24though he fallH5307, he shall not be utterly castH5307 downH5307, for Jehovah upholdeth his handH3027.25I have beenH1961 youngH5288, and now amH1961 oldH2204, and I have not seenH7200 the righteousH6662 forsaken, nor his seedH2233 seekingH1245 breadH3899:26all the dayH3117 he is gracious and lendeth, and his seedH2233 shall be a blessingH1293.27DepartH5493 from evilH7451, and do goodH2896, and dwellH7931 for evermore;28for Jehovah loveth judgmentH4941, and will not forsakeH5800 his saints: They are preservedH8104 for everH5769; but the seedH2233 of the wickedH7563 shall be cutH3772 off.29The righteousH6662 shall possessH3423 the landH776, and dwellH7931 therein for everH5703.30The mouthH6310 of the righteousH6662 proffereth wisdomH2451, and his tongueH3956 speaketh judgmentH4941;31the lawH8451 of his 1GodH430 is in his heartH3820; his goings shall not slide.32The wickedH7563 watcheth the righteousH6662, and seeketh to slay him:33Jehovah will not leaveH5800 him in his handH3027, nor condemnH7561 him when he is judgedH8199.34WaitH6960 for Jehovah, and keepH8104 his wayH1870, and he will exaltH7311 thee to possessH3423 the landH776: when the wickedH7563 are cutH3772 off, thou shalt seeH7200 [it].35I have seenH7200 the wickedH7563 in great power, and spreading like a green tree in its nativeH249 soil:36but he passedH5674 awayH5674, and behold, he was not; and I soughtH1245 him, but he was not foundH4672.37Mark the perfectH8535, and behold the uprightH3477, for the endH319 of [that] manH376 is peaceH7965;38but the transgressorsH6586 shall be destroyedH8045 togetherH3162; the futureH319 of the wickedH7563 shall be cutH3772 off.39But the salvationH8668 of the righteousH6662 is of Jehovah: he is their strength in the timeH6256 of troubleH6869.40And Jehovah will helpH5826 them and deliverH3467 them: he will deliverH3467 them from the wickedH7563, and saveH3467 them; for they trust in him.
