Revised Version 1895
Psalms 37:13-40
The wickedH7563 have drawnH6605 outH1869 the swordH2719, and have bentH1869 their bowH7198; to castH5307 downH5307 the poorH6041 and needyH34, to slayH2873 such as be uprightH3477 in the wayH1870:
Their swordH2719 shall enterH935 intoH935 their own heartH3820, and their bowsH7198 shall be brokenH7665.
BetterH2896 is a littleH4592 that the righteousH6662 hath thanH2896 the abundanceH1995 of manyH7227 wickedH7563.
For the armsH2220 of the wickedH7563 shall be brokenH7665: but the LORDH3068 upholdeth the righteousH6662.
The LORDH3068 knoweth the daysH3117 of the perfectH8549: and their inheritanceH5159 shall be for everH5769.
They shall notH3808 be ashamedH954 in the time of evilH7451: and in the daysH3117 of famineH7459 they shall be satisfiedH7646.
But the wickedH7563 shall perishH6, and the enemiesH341 of the LORDH3068 shall be as the excellency of the pasturesH3733: they shall consumeH3615; in smokeH6227 shall they consumeH3615 awayH3615.
The wickedH7563 borroweth, and payeth notH3808 again: but the righteousH6662 dealeth graciouslyH2603, and giveth.
For such as be blessedH1288 of him shall inheritH3423 the landH776; and they that be cursedH7043 of him shall be cutH3772 offH3772.
ThoughH3588 he fallH5307, he shall notH3808 be utterly castH5307 downH5307: for the LORDH3068 upholdeth him with his handH3027.
I have been youngH5288, and nowH1961 am oldH2204; yet have I notH3808 seenH7200 the righteousH6662 forsaken, norH3808 his seedH2233 beggingH1245 their breadH3899.
AllH3605 the dayH3117 longH3117 he dealeth graciouslyH2603, and lendeth; and his seedH2233 is blessedH1293.
For the LORDH3068 loveth judgmentH4941, and forsaketh notH3808 his saints; they are preservedH8104 for everH5769: but the seedH2233 of the wickedH7563 shall be cutH3772 offH3772.
The mouthH6310 of the righteousH6662 talketh of wisdomH2451, and his tongueH3956 speaketh judgmentH4941.
The LORDH3068 will notH3808 leaveH5800 him in his handH3027, norH3808 condemnH7561 him when he is judgedH8199.
WaitH6960 on the LORDH3068, and keepH8104 his wayH1870, and he shall exaltH7311 thee to inheritH3423 the landH776: when the wickedH7563 are cutH3772 offH3772, thou shalt seeH7200 it.
I have seenH7200 the wickedH7563 in great power, and spreadingH6168 himself like a greenH7488 treeH249 in its nativeH249 soil.
But one passedH5674 by, and, loH2009, he was notH3808: yea, I soughtH1245 him, but he could notH3808 be foundH4672.
MarkH8104 the perfectH8535 manH376, and beholdH7200 the uprightH3477: for the latterH319 endH319 of that manH376 is peaceH7965.
As for transgressorsH6586, they shall be destroyedH8045 togetherH3162: the latterH319 endH319 of the wickedH7563 shall be cutH3772 offH3772.
