Psalm 28
Revised Version 1895
A Psalm of David.
1Unto thee, O LORDH3068, will I callH7121; my rockH6697, be notH408 thou deaf unto meH413: lestH6435, ifH6435 thou be silentH2814 unto meH413, I becomeH7121 like them that goH3381 downH3381 intoH413 the pitH953.
2HearH8085 the voiceH6963 of my supplicationsH8469, when I cryH7768 unto thee, when I liftH5375 upH5375 my handsH3027 towardH413 thy holyH6944 oracle.
3DrawH4900 meH5973 notH408 awayH5973 with the wickedH7563, and with the workersH6466 of iniquityH205; which speakH1696 peaceH7965 with their neighbours, but mischief is in their heartsH3824.
4GiveH5414 them accordingH3027 to their workH4639, and accordingH3027 to the wickednessH7455 of their doingsH6467: giveH5414 them afterH1992 the operation of their handsH3027; renderH7725 to them their desert.
5BecauseH3588 they regardH995 notH3808 the worksH4639 of the LORDH3068, norH3808 the operation of his handsH3027, he shall breakH2040 them downH2040 and notH3808 buildH1129 them upH1129.
6BlessedH1288 be the LORDH3068, becauseH3588 he hath heardH8085 the voiceH6963 of my supplicationsH8469.
7The LORDH3068 is my strengthH5797 and my shieldH4043; my heartH3820 hath trustedH982 in him, and I am helpedH5826: therefore my heartH3820 greatly rejoiceth; and with my songH7892 will praiseH3034 him.
