Psalms 107:4-32
4They wanderedH8582 in the wildernessH4057 in a desert wayH1870, they foundH4672 no cityH5892 of habitation;5HungryH7457 and thirstyH6771, their soulH5315 fainted in them:6Then they criedH6817 unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he deliveredH5337 them out of their distressesH4691,7And he ledH1869 them forth by a rightH3477 wayH1870, that they might go to a cityH5892 of habitation.8Let them giveH3034 thanksH3034 unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of menH120;9For he hath satisfiedH7646 the longing soulH5315 and filledH4390 the hungryH7457 soulH5315 with goodH2896.10Such as inhabitH3427 darknessH2822 and the shadow of death, bound in affliction and ironH1270,11Because they had rebelledH4784 against the wordsH561 of 1GodH410, and had despised the counselH6098 of the Most High; ...12And he bowed down their heartH3820 with labour; they stumbledH3782, and there was none to helpH5826:13Then they criedH2199 unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he savedH3467 them out of their distressesH4691;14He broughtH3318 them out of darknessH2822 and the shadow of death, and broke their bands in sunder.15Let them giveH3034 thanksH3034 unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of menH120;16For he hath brokenH7665 the gates of bronzeH5178, and cutH1438 asunder the barsH1280 of ironH1270.17FoolsH191, because of their wayH1870 of transgressionH6588, and because of their iniquitiesH5771, are afflicted;18Their soulH5315 abhorreth all manner of foodH400, and they draw near unto the gatesH8179 of deathH4194:19Then they cryH2199 unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he saveth them out of their distressesH4691;20He sendeth his wordH1697, and healeth them, and delivereth them from their destructions.21Let them giveH3034 thanksH3034 unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of menH120,22And let them offerH2076 the sacrificesH2077 of thanksgivingH8426, and declare his worksH4639 in joyful song.23They that goH3381 down to the seaH3220 in shipsH591, that do businessH4399 in greatH7227 watersH4325,24These seeH7200 the worksH4639 of Jehovah, and his wondersH6381 in the deepH4688.25For he speaketh, and raiseth the stormy windH7307, which lifteth up the waves thereof:26They mount up to the heavensH8064, they goH5927 down to the depthsH8415; their soulH5315 is meltedH4127 because of troubleH7451;27They reel to and fro, and staggerH5128 like a drunkenH7910 man, and they are at their wits' end:28Then they cryH6817 unto Jehovah in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distressesH4691;29He maketh the stormH5591 a calm, and the waves thereof are still:30And they rejoiceH8055 because they are quietH8367; and he bringeth them unto their desiredH2656 haven.31Let them giveH3034 thanksH3034 unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of menH120;32Let them exaltH7311 him also in the congregation of the peopleH5971, and praiseH1984 him in the session of the eldersH2205.
