Psalms 106:24-33
24And they despised the pleasant landH776; they believedH539 not his wordH1697,25But murmured in their tentsH168: they hearkened not unto the voiceH6963 of Jehovah.26And he liftedH5375 up his handH3027 to them, that he would make them fallH5307 in the wildernessH4057;27And that he would make their seedH2233 fallH5307 among the nationsH1471, and disperseH2219 them through the countries.28And they joinedH6775 themselves unto Baal-PeorH1187, and ateH398 the sacrificesH2077 of the deadH4191;29And they provokedH3707 [him] to angerH3707 with their doings; and a plagueH4046 brokeH6555 out among them.30Then stoodH5975 up PhinehasH6372 and executed judgment, and the plagueH4046 was stayed;31And that was reckonedH2803 unto him for righteousnessH6666, from generationH1755 to generationH1755, for evermore.32And they moved him to wrath at the watersH4325 of Meribah, and it went ill with MosesH4872 on their account;33For they provoked his spiritH7307, so that he spoke unadvisedly with his lipsH8193.
