Psalms 106:24-33

24Then they 1despisedH3988 the 2pleasantH2532 landH776; They 3did not believeH539 in His wordH1697,25But 4grumbledH7279 in their tentsH168; They did not listenH8085 to the voiceH6963 of the LordH3068.26Therefore He 56sworeH5375H3027 to them That He would castH5307 them downH5307 in the wildernessH4057,27And that He would 7castH5307 their seedH2233 among the nationsH1471 And 8scatterH2219 them in the landsH776.

28They 9joinedH6775 themselves also to 10Baal-peorH1187, And ateH398 11sacrificesH2077 offered to the deadH4191.29Thus they 12provokedH3707 Him to angerH3707 with their deedsH4611, And the plagueH4046 brokeH6555 out among them.30Then PhinehasH6372 13stoodH5975 up and interposedH6419, And so the 14plagueH4046 was stayedH6113.31And it was 15reckonedH2803 to him for righteousnessH6666, To allH1755 generationsH1755 foreverH5704H5769.

32They also 16provokedH7107 Him to wrathH7107 at the watersH4325 of 17MeribahH4809, So that it 18wentH7489 hardH7489 with MosesH4872 on their accountH5668;33BecauseH3588 they 19were rebelliousH4784 againstH854 20His SpiritH7307, He spokeH981 rashlyH981 with his lipsH8193.
