Numbers 12
Darby Bible
1And MiriamH4813 and AaronH175 spokeH1696 against MosesH4872 because of the Ethiopian womanH802 whom he had takenH3947; for he had takenH3947 a Cushite as wifeH802. 2And they saidH559, Has Jehovah indeed spokenH1696 onlyH389 to MosesH4872? has he not spokenH1696 alsoH1571 to us? And Jehovah heardH8085 it. 3But the manH376 MosesH4872 was veryH3966 meek, above all menH376 that were upon the faceH6440 of the earthH127. 4Then Jehovah spoke suddenlyH6597 to MosesH4872, and to AaronH175, and to MiriamH4813, ComeH3318 out ye threeH7969 unto the tentH168 of meetingH4150. And they wentH3318 out, they threeH7969. 5And Jehovah cameH3318 downH3381 in the pillarH5982 of the cloudH6051, and stoodH5975 at the entranceH6607 of the tentH168, and calledH7121 AaronH175 and MiriamH4813; and they both cameH3318 forthH3318. 6And he saidH559, HearH8085 now my wordsH1697: If there beH1961 a prophetH5030 among you, I Jehovah will makeH3045 myself knownH3045 to him in a visionH4759, I will speakH1696 to him in a dreamH2472. 7Not soH3651 my servantH5650 MosesH4872: he is faithfulH539 in all my houseH1004. 8MouthH6310 to mouthH6310 do I speakH1696 to him openly, and not in riddlesH2420; and the formH8544 of Jehovah doth he behold. WhyH4069 then were ye not afraidH3372 to speakH1696 against my servantH5650, against MosesH4872? 9And the angerH639 of Jehovah was kindled against them, and he went away; 10and the cloudH6051 departedH5493 from off the tentH168. And behold, MiriamH4813 was leprousH6879 as snowH7950; and AaronH175 turnedH6437 toward MiriamH4813, and behold, she was leprousH6879. 11Then AaronH175 saidH559 to MosesH4872, Alas, my lordH113, I beseech thee, lay not this sinH2398 upon us, wherein we have been foolish, and have sinnedH2398! 12Let her not beH1961 as one stillborn, halfH2677 of whose fleshH1320 is consumedH398 when he comesH3318 out of his mother's wombH7358. 13And MosesH4872 criedH6817 to Jehovah, sayingH559, O 1GodH410, healH7495 her, I beseech thee! 14And Jehovah saidH559 to MosesH4872, But had her fatherH1 anyways spat in her faceH6440, should she not be shamed sevenH7651 daysH3117? She shall be shutH5462 outside the campH4264 sevenH7651 daysH3117, and afterwards she shall be received in [again]. 15And MiriamH4813 was shutH5462 outside the campH4264 sevenH7651 daysH3117; and the peopleH5971 did not journey till MiriamH4813 was received in [again]. 16And afterwards the peopleH5971 journeyed from HazerothH2698, and encampedH2583 in the wildernessH4057 of ParanH6290.
