1And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872 and to AaronH175, sayingH559, 2This is the statuteH2708 of the lawH8451 which Jehovah hath commandedH6680, sayingH559, SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, that they bringH5927 thee a redH122 heiferH6510 without blemish, wherein is no defect, and upon which never cameH5927 yokeH5923; 3and ye shall giveH5414 it to EleazarH499 the priestH3548, and he shall bringH3318 it outside the campH4264, and one shall slaughterH7819 it before him. 4And EleazarH499 the priestH3548 shall takeH3947 of its bloodH1818 with his fingerH676, and shall sprinkle of its bloodH1818 directly before the tentH168 of meetingH4150 sevenH7651 timesH6471. 5And one shall burnH8313 the heiferH6510 before his eyesH5869; its skinH5785 and its fleshH1320, and its bloodH1818, with its dungH6569, shall he burnH8313. 6And the priestH3548 shall takeH3947 cedar-wood, and hyssopH231, and scarletH8144, and castH7993 them into the midstH8432 of the burningH8316 of the heiferH6510. 7And the priestH3548 shall washH3526 his garmentsH899, and he shall batheH7364 his fleshH1320 in waterH4325, and afterwards he shall comeH935 into the campH4264; and the priestH3548 shall be uncleanH2930 until the even; 8and he that hath burnedH8313 it shall washH3526 his garmentsH899 in waterH4325, and batheH7364 his fleshH1320 in waterH4325, and shall be uncleanH2930 until the even. 9And a cleanH2889 manH376 shall gatherH622 the ashesH665 of the heiferH6510, and deposit them outside the campH4264 in a cleanH2889 placeH4725, and it shall beH1961 keptH4931 for the assemblyH5712 of the children of IsraelH3478 for a waterH4325 of separation: it is a purification for sinH2403. 10And he that hath gatheredH622 the ashesH665 of the heiferH6510 shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and beH1961 uncleanH2930 until the even. And it shall beH1961 unto the children of IsraelH3478, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, an everlasting statuteH2708. 11He that toucheth a deadH4191 personH5315, any deadH4191 body of a manH120, shall be uncleanH2930 sevenH7651 daysH3117. 12He shall purifyH2398 himself with it on the thirdH7992 dayH3117, and on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 he shall be cleanH2891; but if he purifyH2398 not himself the thirdH7992 dayH3117, then the seventhH7637 dayH3117 he shall not be cleanH2891. 13Whoever toucheth a deadH4191 personH5315, the deadH4191 body of a manH120 that is deadH4191, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacleH4908 of Jehovah; and that soulH5315 shall beH1961 cutH3772 off from IsraelH3478; for the waterH4325 of separation wasH1961 not sprinkledH2236 upon him: he shall beH1961 uncleanH2931; his uncleanness is yetH5750 upon him. 14This is the lawH8451, when a manH120 dieth in a tentH168: every one that cometh into the tentH168, and all that is in the tentH168, shall be uncleanH2930 sevenH7651 daysH3117. 15And every openH6605 vesselH3627, which hath no covering bound upon it, shall be uncleanH2931. 16And every one that toucheth one that is slainH2491 with a swordH2719 in the open fieldsH7704, or a deadH4191 personH120, or the boneH6106 of a manH120, or a graveH6913, shall be uncleanH2930 sevenH7651 daysH3117. 17And they shall takeH3947 for the uncleanH2931 of the ashes of the purification-offering that hath been burnedH8316, and shall putH5414 running waterH4325 thereon in a vesselH3627; 18and a cleanH2889 manH376 shall takeH3947 hyssopH231, and dipH2881 it in the waterH4325, and sprinkle it on the tentH168, and upon all the utensilsH3627, and upon the personsH5315 that were there, and upon him that hath touchedH5060 the boneH6106, or the oneH376 slainH2491, or the deadH4191 personH5315, or the graveH6913; 19and the cleanH2889 shall sprinkle it on the uncleanH2931 on the thirdH7992 dayH3117, and on the seventhH7637 dayH3117; and he shall purifyH2398 him on the seventhH7637 dayH3117; and he shall washH3526 his garmentsH899, and batheH7364 himself in waterH4325, and shall be cleanH2889 at even. 20And the manH376 that is uncleanH2931, and doth not purifyH2398 himself, that soulH5315 shall be cutH3772 off from the midstH8432 of the congregation, for he hath defiledH2930 the sanctuaryH4720 of Jehovah: the waterH4325 of separation hath not been sprinkledH2236 on him: he is uncleanH2931. 21And it shall beH1961 an everlasting statuteH2708 unto them. And he that sprinkleth the waterH4325 of separation shall washH3526 his garmentsH899, and he that toucheth the waterH4325 of separation shall beH1961 uncleanH2930 until even. 22And whatever the uncleanH2931 personH5315 toucheth shall be uncleanH2931; and the soulH5315 that toucheth it shall be uncleanH2931 until even.
