Numbers 30

1And MosesH4872 spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, This is what Jehovah hath commandedH6680. 2If a man vow a vow to Jehovah, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his wordH1697; according to all that hath gone out of his mouth shall he do. 3If a woman also vowH5088 a vowH5088 to Jehovah, and bindH631 herself by a bond, in her father's house in her youth, 4and her fatherH1 hear her vowH5088, and her bond wherewith she hath boundH631 her soul, and her fatherH1 shall be silent at her, then all her vowsH5088 shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath boundH631 her soul shall stand. 5But if her fatherH1 prohibited her in the day that he heardH8085, none of her vowsH5088, or of her bonds wherewith she hath boundH631 her soulH5315, shall standH6965; and Jehovah shall pardon her, because her fatherH1 prohibited her. 6And if she have a husband, when she hath her vowH5088 upon her or ought that hath passed her lips wherewith she hath boundH631 her soulH5315, 7and her husbandH376 hear it and beH1961 silent at her in the day that he heareth it, then her vowsH5088 shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she boundH631 her soulH5315 shall stand. 8But if her husbandH376 prohibit her on the dayH3117 that he heareth it, and annul her vowH5088 which is upon her, and what hath passed her lips, wherewith she hath boundH631 her soulH5315, then Jehovah shall pardon her. 9But the vowH5088 of a widow, and of her that is divorced, — everything wherewith she hath boundH631 her soulH5315 shall stand against her. 10And if she have vowedH5088 in her husband's house, or have boundH631 her soulH5315 by an oath with a bond, 11and her husbandH376 have heard it, and been silent at her, and hath not prohibited her, then all her vowsH5087 shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath boundH631 her soulH5315 shall stand. 12But if her husbandH376 have expressly annulled them on the day that he heardH8085 them, then nothing of that which is gone out of her lips as to her vowsH5088 or the bond on her soulH5315, shall standH6965: her husbandH376 hath annulled them; and Jehovah will pardon her. 13Every vowH5088, and every binding oath to afflict the soulH5315, her husbandH376 can establishH6965 it, or her husbandH376 can annulH6565 it. 14And if her husbandH376 be altogether silent at her from day to day, then he hath establishedH6965 all her vowsH5088 or all her bonds which are upon her; he hath confirmed them, for he hath been silent at her in the day that he heard them. 15But if he in any way annul them after he hath heardH8085 them, then he shall bear her iniquity. 16These are the statutes, which Jehovah commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, in her youth in her father's house.
