Matthew 5:33-37
AgainG3825, ye have heardG191 that it has been said to the ancientsG744, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt renderG591 to the LordG2962 what thou hast sworn.
But I sayG3004 unto you, Do not swearG3660 at all; neither by the heavenG3772, because it isG1510 [the] throneG2362 of 1GodG2316;
nor by the earthG1093, because it isG1510 [the] footstoolG5286 of his feetG4228; nor by JerusalemG2414, because it isG1510 [the] cityG4172 of the greatG3173 KingG935.
Neither shalt thou swearG3660 by thy headG2776, because thou canst not makeG4160 oneG1520 hairG2359 whiteG3022 or blackG3189.
But let your wordG3056 beG1510 Yea, yea; Nay, nay; but what isG1510 more than these isG1510 from evilG4190.
