Leviticus 23
1And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 2SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, and sayH559 unto them, [ConcerningH413] the set feastsH4150 of Jehovah, which ye shall proclaimH7121 as holyH6944 convocationsH4744 — these are my set feastsH4150. 3SixH8337 daysH3117 shall workH4399 be done; but on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 is the sabbathH7676 of rest, a holyH6944 convocationH4744; no manner of workH4399 shall ye do: it is the sabbathH7676 to Jehovah in all your dwellingsH4186. 4These are the set feastsH4150 of Jehovah, holyH6944 convocationsH4744, which ye shall proclaimH7121 in their seasons: 5In the firstH7223 monthH2320, on the fourteenth of the monthH2320, between the two eveningsH6153, is the passoverH6453 to Jehovah. 6And on the fifteenth dayH3117 of this monthH2320 is the feastH2282 of unleavenedH4682 breadH4682 to Jehovah; sevenH7651 daysH3117 shall ye eatH398 unleavenedH4682 breadH4682. 7On the firstH7223 dayH3117 ye shall have a holyH6944 convocationH4744: no manner of servile workH4399 shall ye do. 8And ye shall presentH7126 to Jehovah an offeringH801 by fireH801 sevenH7651 daysH3117; on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 is a holyH6944 convocationH4744: no manner of servile workH4399 shall ye do. 9And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 10SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478 and sayH559 unto them, When ye comeH935 into the landH776 that I giveH5414 unto you, and ye reapH7114 the harvestH7105 thereof, then ye shall bringH935 a sheafH6016 of the first-fruits of your harvestH7105 unto the priestH3548. 11And he shall waveH5130 the sheafH6016 before Jehovah, to be accepted for you; on the nextH4283 dayH4283 after the sabbathH7676 the priestH3548 shall waveH5130 it. 12And ye shall offerH6213 that dayH3117 when ye waveH5130 the sheafH6016, a he-lamb without blemish, a yearling, for a burnt-offering to Jehovah; 13and the oblation thereof: twoH8147 tenths of fineH5560 flourH5560 mingled with oilH8081, an offeringH4503 by fireH801 to Jehovah for a sweet odour; and the drink-offering thereof, of wineH3196, a fourthH7243 part of a hinH1969. 14And ye shall not eatH398 breadH3899, or roast corn, or green ears, until the same dayH3117 that ye have broughtH935 the offeringH7133 of your 1GodH430: [it is] an everlasting statuteH2708 throughout your generationsH1755 in all your dwellingsH4186. 15And ye shall countH5608 from the morning after the sabbathH7676, from the dayH3117 that ye broughtH935 the sheafH6016 of the wave-offering, sevenH7651 weeks; they shall beH1961 completeH8549; 16even unto the morning after the seventhH7637 sabbathH7676 shall ye countH5608 fiftyH2572 daysH3117; and ye shall presentH7126 a newH2319 oblation to Jehovah. 17Out of your dwellingsH4186 shall ye bringH935 twoH8147 wave-loaves, of twoH8147 tenths of fineH5560 flourH5560; with leavenH2557 shall they beH1961 baken; [as] first-fruits to Jehovah. 18And ye shall presentH7126 with the breadH3899 sevenH7651 he-lambs without blemish, yearlings, and oneH259 youngH1121 bullock, and twoH8147 ramsH352: they shall beH1961 a burnt-offering to Jehovah with their oblation, and their drink-offerings, an offeringH4503 by fireH801 of a sweet odour to Jehovah. 19And ye shall sacrificeH2077 oneH259 buck of the goatsH5795 for a sin-offering, and twoH8147 he-lambs, yearlings, for a sacrificeH2077 of peace-offering. 20And the priestH3548 shall wave them with the breadH3899 of the first-fruits as a wave-offering before Jehovah, with the twoH8147 he-lambs; they shall beH1961 holyH6944 to Jehovah, for the priestH3548. 21And ye shall makeH6213 proclamation on that same dayH3117 — a holyH6944 convocationH4744 shall it beH1961 unto you: no manner of servile workH4399 shall ye do: [it is] an everlasting statuteH2708 in all your dwellingsH4186 throughout your generationsH1755. 22And when ye reapH7114 the harvestH7105 of your landH776, thou shalt not in thy harvestH7105 entirely reapH7114 the cornersH6285 of thy fieldH7704, and the gleaning of thy harvestH7105 shalt thou not gatherH3950: thou shalt leaveH5800 them unto the poorH6041 and to the stranger: I am Jehovah your 2GodH430. 23And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 24SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, In the seventhH7637 monthH2320, on the first of the monthH2320, shall ye have a rest, a memorialH2146 of blowing of trumpets, a holyH6944 convocationH4744. 25No manner of servile workH4399 shall ye do; and ye shall presentH7126 an offeringH801 by fireH801 to Jehovah. 26And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 27Also on the tenth of this seventhH7637 monthH2320 is the dayH3117 of the atonementH3725: a holyH6944 convocationH4744 shall it beH1961 unto you; and ye shall afflictH6031 your soulsH5315, and presentH7126 an offeringH801 by fireH801 to Jehovah. 28And ye shall do no manner of workH4399 on that same dayH3117; for it is a dayH3117 of atonementH3725, to makeH6213 atonementH3725 for you before Jehovah your 3GodH430. 29For every soulH5315 that is not afflicted on that same dayH3117, shall be cutH3772 off from among his peoplesH5971. 30And every soulH5315 that doeth any manner of workH4399 on that same dayH3117, the same soulH5315 will I destroyH6 from among his peopleH5971. 31No manner of workH4399 shall ye do: [it is] an everlasting statuteH2708 throughout your generationsH1755 in all your dwellingsH4186. 32A sabbathH7676 of rest shall it be unto you; and ye shall afflictH6031 your soulsH5315. On the ninth of the monthH2320 at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbathH7676. 33And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 34SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, On the fifteenth dayH3117 of this seventhH7637 monthH2320 is the feastH2282 of boothsH5521 sevenH7651 daysH3117 to Jehovah. 35On the firstH7223 dayH3117 there shall be a holyH6944 convocationH4744: no manner of servile workH4399 shall ye do. 36SevenH7651 daysH3117 ye shall presentH7126 an offeringH801 by fireH801 to Jehovah; on the eighthH8066 dayH3117 shall beH1961 a holyH6944 convocationH4744 unto you; and ye shall presentH7126 an offeringH801 by fireH801 to Jehovah: it is a solemnH6116 assembly; no manner of servile workH4399 shall ye do. 37These are the set feastsH4150 of Jehovah, which ye shall proclaimH7121 as holyH6944 convocationsH4744, to presentH7126 an offeringH4503 by fireH801 to Jehovah, a burnt-offering, and an oblation, a sacrificeH2077, and drink-offerings, everything upon its dayH3117; 38besides the sabbathsH7676 of Jehovah, and besides your giftsH4979, and besides all your vowsH5088, and besides all your voluntary offeringsH5071, which ye giveH5414 to Jehovah. 39But on the fifteenth dayH3117 of the seventhH7637 monthH2320, when ye have gatheredH622 in the produceH8393 of the landH776, ye shall celebrateH2287 the feastH2282 of Jehovah sevenH7651 daysH3117: on the firstH7223 dayH3117 there shall be rest, and on the eighthH8066 dayH3117 there shall be rest. 40And ye shall takeH3947 on the firstH7223 dayH3117 the fruitH6529 of beautiful treesH6086, palmH8558 branchesH6057 and the boughs of leafyH5687 treesH6086, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoiceH8055 before Jehovah your 4GodH430 sevenH7651 daysH3117. 41And ye shall celebrateH2287 it as a feastH2282 to Jehovah sevenH7651 daysH3117 in the yearH8141: [it is] an everlasting statuteH2708 throughout your generationsH1755; in the seventhH7637 monthH2320 shall ye celebrateH2287 it. 42In boothsH5521 shall ye dwellH3427 sevenH7651 daysH3117; all born in IsraelH3478 shall dwellH3427 in boothsH5521; 43that your generationsH1755 may knowH3045 that I caused the children of IsraelH3478 to dwellH3427 in boothsH5521, when I broughtH3318 them out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714: I am Jehovah your 5GodH430. 44And MosesH4872 declared the set feastsH4150 of Jehovah to the children of IsraelH3478.
