Leviticus 20

1And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 2Thou shalt sayH559 also to the children of IsraelH3478, Every oneH376 of the children of IsraelH3478, or of the strangers who sojourn in IsraelH3478, that giveth of his seedH2233 unto MolechH4432, shall certainlyH4191 be putH5414 to deathH4191: the peopleH5971 of the landH776 shall stoneH68 him with stonesH68. 3And I will setH5414 my faceH6440 against that manH376, and will cutH3772 him off from among his peopleH5971; because he hath givenH5414 of his seedH2233 unto MolechH4432, soH4616 as to makeH5414 my sanctuaryH4720 uncleanH2930, and to profaneH2490 my holyH6944 nameH8034. 4And if the peopleH5971 of the landH776 do any ways hideH5956 their eyesH5869 from that manH376, when he giveth of his seedH2233 unto MolechH4432, that they killH4191 him not, 5then I will setH7760 my faceH6440 against that manH376, and against his familyH4940, and will cutH3772 him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with MolechH4432, from among their peopleH5971. 6— And the soulH5315 that turneth unto necromancers and unto soothsayers, to go a whoring after them, I will setH5414 my faceH6440 against that soulH5315, and will cutH3772 him off from among his peopleH5971. 7Hallow yourselves therefore, and beH1961 holyH6918; for I am Jehovah your 1GodH430. 8And ye shall observeH8104 my statutesH2708, and do them: I am Jehovah who hallow you. 9Whatever manH376 revileth his fatherH1 and his motherH517 shall certainly be putH4191 to deathH4191: he hath reviled his fatherH1 and his motherH517; his bloodH1818 is upon him. 10And a manH376 that committeth adulteryH5003 with a man's wifeH802, who committeth adulteryH5003 with his neighbour's wifeH802, — the adultererH5003 and the adulteress shall certainlyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191. 11And a manH376 that lieth with his father's wifeH802 hath uncoveredH1540 his father's nakednessH6172: both of them shall certainlyH1540 be putH4191 to deathH4191; their bloodH1818 is upon them. 12And if a manH376 lieH7901 with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall certainlyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191: they have wrought confusion; their bloodH1818 is upon them. 13And if a manH376 lieH7901 with mankind, as he lieth with a womanH802, both of them have committed an abominationH8441: they shall certainlyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191; their bloodH1818 is upon them. 14And if a manH376 takeH3947 a wifeH802 and her motherH517, it is infamy: they shall burnH8313 him and them with fireH784, that there beH1961 no infamy among you. 15And if a manH376 lie with a beast for copulation, he shall certainlyH4191 be putH5414 to deathH4191; and ye shall killH2026 the beast. 16And if a womanH802 approach unto any beast to gender therewith, thou shalt killH2026 the womanH802 and the beast: they shall certainlyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191; their bloodH1818 is upon them. 17And if a manH376 takeH3947 his sisterH269, his father's daughterH1323, or his mother's daughterH1323, and seeH7200 her nakednessH6172, and she seeH7200 his nakednessH6172, that is a disgrace; and they shall be cutH3772 off before the eyesH5869 of the children of their peopleH5971: he hath uncoveredH1540 his sister's nakednessH6172; he shall bearH5375 his iniquityH5771. 18And if a manH376 shall lieH7901 with a womanH802 in her infirmity, and uncoverH1540 her nakednessH6172, her flux doth he layH7901 bare, and she hath uncoveredH1540 the fountainH4726 of her bloodH1818; and both of them shall be cutH3772 off from among their peopleH5971. 19And the nakednessH6172 of thy mother's sisterH269, and of thy father's sisterH269 shalt thou not uncoverH1540; for he hath laid nakedH6168 his near relation: they shall bearH5375 their iniquityH5771. 20And if a manH376 lieH7901 with his auntH1733, he hath uncoveredH1540 his uncle's nakednessH6172: their sinH2399 shall they bearH5375: they shall dieH4191 childlessH6185. 21And if a manH376 takeH3947 his brother's wifeH802, it is an unclean thingH5079: he hath uncoveredH1540 his brother's nakednessH6172: they shall beH1961 childlessH6185. 22And ye shall observeH8104 all my statutesH2708, and all mine ordinancesH4941, and do them, that the landH776 whither I bringH935 you to dwellH3427 therein vomitH6958 you not out. 23And ye shall not walk in the customsH2708 of the nationH1471 which I am casting out before you; for all these thingsH428 have they done, and they became an abomination to me. 24And I have saidH559 unto you, Ye shall possessH3423 their landH776, and I will giveH5414 it unto you for a possessionH3423; a landH776 flowingH2100 with milkH2461 and honeyH1706: I am Jehovah your 2GodH430, who have separatedH914 you from the peoplesH5971. 25And ye shall make a separation between the cleanH2889 beast and the uncleanH2931, and between the uncleanH2931 fowl and the cleanH2889, and ye shall not make yourselves an abomination by beast, or by fowl, or by anything that creepeth on the groundH127 which I have separatedH914 for you, declaring [it] as uncleanH2931. 26And ye shall beH1961 holyH6918 unto me; for I Jehovah am holyH6918, and have separatedH914 you from the peoplesH5971 to beH1961 mine. 27And if there beH1961 a manH376 or a womanH802 in whom is a spirit of Python or of divination, they shall certainly beH1961 putH4191 to deathH4191: they shall stoneH68 them with stonesH68; their bloodH1818 is upon them.
