Leviticus 3

1And if his offeringH7133 be a sacrificeH2077 of peace-offering, — if he presentH7126 [it] of the herdH1241, whether a maleH2145 or femaleH5347, he shall presentH7126 it without blemish before Jehovah. 2And he shall lay his handH3027 on the headH7218 of his offeringH7133, and slaughterH7819 it at the entranceH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150; and Aaron's sonsH1121, the priestsH3548, shall sprinkleH2236 the bloodH1818 on the altarH4196 roundH5439 about. 3And he shall presentH7126 of the sacrificeH2077 of peace-offering an offeringH801 by fireH801 to Jehovah; the fatH2459 that covereth the inwards, and all the fatH2459 that is on the inwards, 4and the twoH8147 kidneysH3629, and the fatH2459 that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liverH3516 which he shall take awayH5493 as far as the kidneysH3629; 5and Aaron's sonsH1121 shall burn it on the altarH4196 upon the burnt-offering which [lieth] on the woodH6086 that is upon the fireH784: [it is] an offeringH801 by fireH784 to Jehovah of a sweet odour. 6And if his offeringH7133 for a sacrificeH2077 of peace-offering to Jehovah be of small cattle, maleH2145 or femaleH5347, he shall presentH7126 it without blemish. 7If he presentH7126 a sheep for his offeringH7133, then shall he presentH7126 it before Jehovah, 8and shall lay his handH3027 on the headH7218 of his offeringH7133, and slaughterH7819 it before the tentH168 of meetingH4150; and Aaron's sonsH1121 shall sprinkleH2236 the bloodH1818 thereof upon the altarH4196 roundH5439 about. 9And he shall presentH7126 of the sacrificeH2077 of peace-offering an offeringH801 by fireH801 to Jehovah; the fatH2459 thereof, the whole fatH2459 tailH451, which he shall take off closeH5980 by the backbone, and the fatH2459 that covereth the inwards, and all the fatH2459 that is on the inwards, 10and the twoH8147 kidneysH3629, and the fatH2459 that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liverH3516 which he shall take awayH5493 as far as the kidneysH3629; 11and the priestH3548 shall burn it on the altarH4196: [it is] the foodH3899 of the offeringH801 by fireH801 to Jehovah. 12And if his offeringH7133 be a goatH5795, then he shall presentH7126 it before Jehovah. 13And he shall lay his handH3027 on the headH7218 of it, and slaughterH7819 it before the tentH168 of meetingH4150; and the sonsH1121 of AaronH175 shall sprinkleH2236 the bloodH1818 thereof on the altarH4196 roundH5439 about. 14And he shall presentH7126 thereof his offeringH801, an offeringH801 by fireH801 to Jehovah; the fatH2459 that covereth the inwards and all the fatH2459 that is on the inwards, 15and the twoH8147 kidneysH3629, and the fatH2459 that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liverH3516 which he shall take awayH5493 as far as the kidneysH3629; 16and the priestH3548 shall burn them on the altarH4196: [it is] the foodH3899 of the offeringH801 by fireH801 for a sweet odour. All the fatH2459 [shall be] Jehovah's. 17[It is] an everlasting statuteH2708 for your generationsH1755 throughout all your dwellingsH4186: no fatH2459 and no bloodH1818 shall ye eatH398.
