Leviticus 23
1And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 2SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, and sayH559 unto them, The set feastsH4150 of Jehovah, which ye shall proclaimH7121 to be holyH6944 convocationsH4744, even these are my set feastsH4150. 3SixH8337 daysH3117 shall workH4399 be done: but on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 is a sabbathH7676 of solemn rest, a holyH6944 convocationH4744; ye shall do no manner of workH4399: it is a sabbathH7676 unto Jehovah in all your dwellingsH4186.
4These are the set feastsH4150 of Jehovah, even holyH6944 convocationsH4744, which ye shall proclaimH7121 in their appointedH4150 season. 5In the firstH7223 monthH2320, on the fourteenth day of the monthH2320 at even, is Jehovah’s passoverH6453. 6And on the fifteenth dayH3117 of the same monthH2320 is the feastH2282 of unleavenedH4682 breadH4682 unto Jehovah: sevenH7651 daysH3117 ye shall eatH398 unleavenedH4682 breadH4682. 7In the firstH7223 dayH3117 ye shall have a holyH6944 convocationH4744: ye shall do no servile workH4399. 8But ye shall offer an offeringH801 madeH6213 by fireH801 unto Jehovah sevenH7651 daysH3117: in the seventhH7637 dayH3117 is a holyH6944 convocationH4744; ye shall do no servile workH4399.
9And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 10SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, and sayH559 unto them, When ye are comeH935 into the landH776 which I giveH5414 unto you, and shall reapH7114 the harvestH7105 thereof, then ye shall bringH935 the sheafH6016 of the first-fruits of your harvestH7105 unto the priestH3548: 11and he shall waveH5130 the sheafH6016 before Jehovah, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbathH7676 the priestH3548 shall waveH5130 it. 12And in the dayH3117 when ye waveH5130 the sheafH6016, ye shall offerH6213 a he-lamb without blemish a yearH8141 old for a burnt-offering unto Jehovah. 13And the meal-offering thereof shall be twoH8147 tenthH6241 parts of an ephah of fineH5560 flourH5560 mingled with oilH8081, an offeringH4503 made by fireH801 unto Jehovah for a sweet savor; and the drink-offering thereof shall be of wineH3196, the fourthH7243 part of a hinH1969. 14And ye shall eatH398 neither breadH3899, nor parched grain, nor fresh ears, until this selfsame dayH3117, until ye have broughtH935 the oblation of your GodH430: it is a statuteH2708 for everH5769 throughout your generationsH1755 in all your dwellingsH4186.
15And ye shall countH5608 unto you from the morrow after the sabbathH7676, from the dayH3117 that ye broughtH935 the sheafH6016 of the wave-offering; sevenH7651 sabbathsH7676 shall there beH1961 completeH8549: 16even unto the morrow after the seventhH7637 sabbathH7676 shall ye number fiftyH2572 daysH3117; and ye shall offer a newH2319 meal-offering unto Jehovah. 17Ye shall bringH935 out of your habitations twoH8147 wave-loaves of twoH8147 tenthH6241 parts of an ephah: they shall beH1961 of fineH5560 flourH5560, they shall beH1961 baken with leavenH2557, for first-fruits unto Jehovah. 18And ye shall presentH7126 with the breadH3899 sevenH7651 lambsH3532 without blemish a yearH8141 old, and oneH259 youngH1121 bullock, and twoH8147 ramsH352: they shall beH1961 a burnt-offering unto Jehovah, with their meal-offering, and their drink-offerings, even an offeringH4503 made by fireH801, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah. 19And ye shall offer oneH259 he-goat for a sin-offering, and twoH8147 he-lambs a yearH8141 old for a sacrificeH2077 of peace-offerings. 20And the priestH3548 shall wave them with the breadH3899 of the first-fruits for a wave-offering before Jehovah, with the twoH8147 lambsH3532: they shall beH1961 holyH6944 to Jehovah for the priestH3548. 21And ye shall makeH6213 proclamation on the selfsame dayH3117; there shall beH1961 a holyH6944 convocationH4744 unto you; ye shall do no servile workH4399: it is a statuteH2708 for everH5769 in all your dwellingsH4186 throughout your generationsH1755.
22And when ye reapH7114 the harvestH7105 of your landH776, thou shalt not wholly reapH7114 the cornersH6285 of thy fieldH7704, neither shalt thou gatherH3950 the gleaning of thy harvestH7105: thou shalt leaveH5800 them for the poorH6041, and for the sojournerH1616: I am Jehovah your GodH430.
23And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 24SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, In the seventhH7637 monthH2320, on the first day of the monthH2320, shall beH1961 a solemn rest unto you, a memorialH2146 of blowing of trumpets, a holyH6944 convocationH4744. 25Ye shall do no servile workH4399; and ye shall offer an offeringH801 madeH6213 by fireH801 unto Jehovah.
26And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 27Howbeit on the tenth dayH3117 of this seventhH7637 monthH2320 is the dayH3117 of atonementH3725: it shall beH1961 a holyH6944 convocationH4744 unto you, and ye shall afflictH6031 your soulsH5315; and ye shall offer an offeringH801 made by fireH801 unto Jehovah. 28And ye shall do no manner of workH4399 in that same dayH3117; for it is a dayH3117 of atonementH3725, to makeH6213 atonementH3725 for you before Jehovah your GodH430. 29For whatsoever soulH5315 it be that shall not be afflicted in that same dayH3117; he shall be cutH3772 off from his peopleH5971. 30And whatsoever soulH5315 it be that doeth any manner of workH4399 in that same dayH3117, that soulH5315 will I destroyH6 from among his peopleH5971. 31Ye shall do no manner of workH4399: it is a statuteH2708 for everH5769 throughout your generationsH1755 in all your dwellingsH4186. 32It shall be unto you a sabbathH7676 of solemn rest, and ye shall afflictH6031 your soulsH5315: in the ninth day of the monthH2320 at even, from even unto even, shall ye keep your sabbathH7676.
33And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 34SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, On the fifteenth dayH3117 of this seventhH7637 monthH2320 is the feastH2282 of tabernacles for sevenH7651 daysH3117 unto Jehovah. 35On the firstH7223 dayH3117 shall be a holyH6944 convocationH4744: ye shall do no servile workH4399. 36SevenH7651 daysH3117 ye shall offer an offeringH801 madeH6213 by fireH801 unto Jehovah: on the eighthH8066 dayH3117 shall beH1961 a holyH6944 convocationH4744 unto you; and ye shall offer an offeringH801 madeH6213 by fireH801 unto Jehovah: it is a solemnH6116 assembly; ye shall do no servile workH4399.
37These are the set feastsH4150 of Jehovah, which ye shall proclaimH7121 to be holyH6944 convocationsH4744, to offer an offeringH4503 made by fireH801 unto Jehovah, a burnt-offering, and a meal-offering, a sacrificeH2077, and drink-offerings, each on its own dayH3117; 38besides the sabbathsH7676 of Jehovah, and besides your giftsH4979, and besides all your vowsH5088, and besides all your freewill-offerings, which ye giveH5414 unto Jehovah.
39Howbeit on the fifteenth dayH3117 of the seventhH7637 monthH2320, when ye have gatheredH622 in the fruits of the landH776, ye shall keep the feastH2282 of Jehovah sevenH7651 daysH3117: on the firstH7223 dayH3117 shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighthH8066 dayH3117 shall be a solemn rest. 40And ye shall takeH3947 you on the firstH7223 dayH3117 the fruitH6529 of goodly treesH6086, branchesH6057 of palm-trees, and boughs of thick treesH6086, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoiceH8055 before Jehovah your GodH430 sevenH7651 daysH3117. 41And ye shall keep it a feastH2282 unto Jehovah sevenH7651 daysH3117 in the yearH8141: it is a statuteH2708 for everH5769 throughout your generationsH1755; ye shall keep it in the seventhH7637 monthH2320. 42Ye shall dwellH3427 in boothsH5521 sevenH7651 daysH3117; all that are home-born in IsraelH3478 shall dwellH3427 in boothsH5521; 43that your generationsH1755 may knowH3045 that I madeH3045 the children of IsraelH3478 to dwellH3427 in boothsH5521, when I broughtH3318 them out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714: I am Jehovah your GodH430. 44And MosesH4872 declared unto the children of IsraelH3478 the set feastsH4150 of Jehovah.
