Leviticus 18

1And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 2SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, and sayH559 unto them, I am Jehovah your 1GodH430. 3After the doings of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, wherein ye dweltH3427, shall ye not do; and after the doings of the landH776 of CanaanH3667, whither I bringH935 you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their customsH2708. 4Mine ordinancesH4941 shall ye do and my statutesH2708 shall ye observeH8104 to walk therein: I am Jehovah your 2GodH430. 5And ye shall observeH8104 my statutesH2708 and my judgmentsH4941, by which the manH120 that doeth them shall live: I am Jehovah. 6No oneH376 shall approach to any that is his near relation, to uncoverH1540 his nakednessH6172: I am Jehovah. 7The nakednessH6172 of thy fatherH1, and the nakednessH6172 of thy motherH517, shalt thou not uncoverH1540: she is thy motherH517: thou shalt not uncoverH1540 her nakednessH6172. 8The nakednessH6172 of thy father's wifeH802 shalt thou not uncoverH1540: it is thy father's nakednessH6172. 9The nakednessH6172 of thy sisterH269, the daughterH1323 of thy fatherH1, or daughterH1323 of thy motherH517, born at home, or born abroad — their nakednessH6172 shalt thou not uncoverH1540. 10The nakednessH6172 of thy son's daughterH1323, or of thy daughter's daughterH1323 — their nakednessH6172 shalt thou not uncoverH1540; for theirs is thy nakednessH6172. 11The nakednessH6172 of thy father's wife's daughterH1323, begotten of thy fatherH1: she is thy sisterH269: thou shalt not uncoverH1540 her nakednessH6172. 12The nakednessH6172 of thy father's sisterH269 shalt thou not uncoverH1540: she is thy father's near relation. 13The nakednessH6172 of thy mother's sisterH269 shalt thou not uncoverH1540; for she is thy mother's near relation. 14The nakednessH6172 of thy father's brotherH251 shalt thou not uncoverH1540; thou shalt not approach his wifeH802: she is thine auntH1733. 15The nakednessH6172 of thy daughter-in-law shalt thou not uncoverH1540: she is thy son's wifeH802; thou shalt not uncoverH1540 her nakednessH6172. 16The nakednessH6172 of thy brother's wifeH802 shalt thou not uncoverH1540: it is thy brother's nakednessH6172. 17The nakednessH6172 of a womanH802 and her daughterH1323 shalt thou not uncoverH1540; thou shalt not takeH3947 her son's daughterH1323, nor her daughter's daughterH1323, to uncoverH1540 her nakednessH6172: they are her near relations: it is wickednessH2154. 18And thou shalt not takeH3947 a wifeH802 to her sisterH269, to vex her, to uncoverH1540 her nakednessH6172 beside her, during her lifeH2416. 19And thou shalt not approach a womanH802 in the separation of her uncleanness to uncoverH1540 her nakednessH6172. 20And thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wifeH802, to becomeH2930 uncleanH2930 with her. 21And thou shalt not giveH5414 of thy seedH2233 to let them passH5674 through [the fire] to MolechH4432, neither shalt thou profaneH2490 the nameH8034 of thy 3GodH430: I am Jehovah. 22And thou shalt not lieH7901 with mankind as one lieth with a womanH802: it is an abominationH8441. 23And thou shalt lie with no beast to becomeH2930 uncleanH2930 therewith; and a womanH802 shall not standH5975 before a beast to lie down with it: it is confusion. 24MakeH2930 not yourselvesH2930 uncleanH2930 in any of these thingsH428; for in all these have the nationsH1471 which I am casting out before you madeH2930 themselves uncleanH2930. 25And the landH776 hath becomeH2930 uncleanH2930; and I visitH6485 the iniquityH5771 thereof upon it, and the landH776 vomiteth out its inhabitantsH3427. 26But ye shall observeH8104 my statutesH2708 and my judgmentsH4941, and shall not commit any of all these abominationsH8441: the home-born, and the stranger that sojourneth among you; 27(for all these abominationsH8441 have the menH376 of the landH776 done, who were before you, and the landH776 hath been madeH6213 uncleanH2930); 28that the landH776 vomitH6958 you not out, whenH834 ye makeH2930 it uncleanH2930, as it vomited out the nationH1471 that was before you. 29For whoever committeth any of these abominationsH8441, ...the soulsH5315 that commit them shall be cutH3772 off from among their peopleH5971. 30And ye shall observeH8104 my chargeH4931, that ye commit not [any] of the abominable customsH2708 which were committed before you; and ye shall not makeH6213 yourselvesH2930 uncleanH2930 therein: I am Jehovah your 4GodH430.
