Leviticus 14
1And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 2This shall beH1961 the lawH8451 of the leper in the dayH3117 of his cleansing: he shall beH1961 broughtH935 unto the priestH3548, 3and the priestH3548 shall goH3318 out of the campH4264; and when the priestH3548 looketh, and behold, the sore of leprosy is healedH7495 in the leper, 4then shall the priestH3548 commandH6680 to takeH3947 for him that is to be cleansedH2891 twoH8147 cleanH2889 livingH2416 birdsH6833, and cedar-wood, and scarletH8144, and hyssopH231. 5And the priestH3548 shall commandH6680 that oneH259 birdH6833 be killed in an earthen vesselH3627 over running waterH4325: 6as to the living birdH6833 — he shall takeH3947 it, and the cedar-wood, and the scarletH8144, and the hyssopH231, and dipH2881 them and the living birdH6833 in the bloodH1818 of the birdH6833 that was killed over the running waterH4325; 7and he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansedH2891 from the leprosy sevenH7651 timesH6471, and shall pronounce him cleanH2891, and shall let the living birdH6833 loose into the open fieldH7704. 8And he that is to be cleansedH2891 shall washH3526 his garmentsH899, and shaveH1548 all his hairH8181, and batheH7364 in waterH4325, and he shall be cleanH2891; and afterwards shall he comeH935 into the campH4264, and shall abide outside his tentH168 sevenH7651 daysH3117. 9And it shall come to pass on the seventhH7637 dayH3117, that he shall shaveH1548 all his hairH8181, his headH7218, and his beardH2206, and his eyebrows, even all his hairH8181 shall he shaveH1548, and he shall washH3526 his garmentsH899, and shall batheH7364 his fleshH1320 in waterH4325, and he is cleanH2891. 10And on the eighthH8066 dayH3117 he shall takeH3947 twoH8147 he-lambs without blemish, and oneH259 yearling ewe-lamb without blemish, and threeH7969 tenthH6241 parts of fineH5560 flourH5560 mingled with oilH8081, for an oblation, and oneH259 logH3849 of oilH8081. 11And the priestH3548 that cleanseth [him] shall present the manH376 that is to be cleansedH2891 and those things before Jehovah, at the entranceH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150. 12And the priestH3548 shall takeH3947 oneH259 he-lamb, and presentH7126 it for a trespass-offering, and the logH3849 of oilH8081, and wave them as a wave-offering before Jehovah. 13And he shall slaughterH7819 the he-lamb at the placeH4725 whereH834 the sin-offering and the burnt-offering are slaughteredH7819, in a holyH6944 placeH4725; for as the sin-offering, so the trespass-offering is the priest's: it is most holyH6944. 14And the priestH3548 shall takeH3947 of the bloodH1818 of the trespass-offering, and the priestH3548 shall putH5414 it on the tip of the rightH3233 earH241 of him that is to be cleansedH2891, and on the thumbH931 of his rightH3233 handH3027, and on the great toeH931 of his rightH3233 footH7272. 15And the priestH3548 shall takeH3947 of the logH3849 of oilH8081, and pourH3332 it into his, the priest's, left handH3709; 16and the priestH3548 shall dipH2881 his rightH3233 fingerH676 in the oilH8081 that is in his left handH3709, and shall sprinkle of the oilH8081 with his fingerH676 sevenH7651 timesH6471 before Jehovah. 17And of the restH3499 of the oilH8081 that is in his handH3027 shall the priestH3548 putH5414 on the tip of the rightH3233 earH241 of him that is to be cleansedH2891, and on the thumbH931 of his rightH3233 handH3027, and on the great toeH931 of his rightH3233 footH7272, upon the bloodH1818 of the trespass-offering. 18And the remainderH3498 of the oilH8081 that is in the priest's handH3709 he shall putH5414 upon the headH7218 of him that is to be cleansedH2891, and the priestH3548 shall makeH5414 atonementH3722 for him before Jehovah. 19And the priestH3548 shall offer the sin-offering, and makeH6213 atonementH3722 for him that is to be cleansedH2891 from his uncleannessH2932; and afterwards shall he slaughterH7819 the burnt-offering. 20And the priestH3548 shall offerH5927 the burnt-offering and the oblation upon the altarH4196; and the priestH3548 shall make atonementH3722 for him, and he shall be cleanH2891. 21But if he be poorH1800, and his handH3027 be not able to get it, then he shall takeH3947 oneH259 lambH3532 for a trespass-offering, for a wave-offering, to make atonementH3722 for him; and oneH259 tenthH6241 part of fineH5560 flourH5560 mingled with oilH8081 for an oblation; and a logH3849 of oilH8081, 22and twoH8147 turtle-doves, or twoH8147 youngH1121 pigeons, as his handH3027 may beH1961 able to get: the oneH259 shall beH1961 a sin-offering, and the other a burnt-offering. 23And he shall bringH935 them on the eighthH8066 dayH3117 of his cleansing unto the priestH3548, unto the entranceH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150, before Jehovah. 24And the priestH3548 shall takeH3947 the he-lamb of the trespass-offering, and the logH3849 of oilH8081, and the priestH3548 shall wave them as a wave-offering before Jehovah. 25And he shall slaughterH7819 the he-lamb of the trespass-offering; and the priestH3548 shall takeH3947 of the bloodH1818 of the trespass-offering, and putH5414 it upon the tip of the rightH3233 earH241 of him that is to be cleansedH2891, and upon the thumbH931 of his rightH3233 handH3027, and on the great toeH931 of his rightH3233 footH7272. 26And the priestH3548 shall pourH3332 of the oilH8081 into [his], the priest's, left handH3709, 27and the priestH3548 shall sprinkle with his rightH3233 fingerH676 of the oilH8081 that is in his left handH3709 sevenH7651 timesH6471 before Jehovah. 28And the priestH3548 shall putH5414 of the oilH8081 that is in his handH3027 upon the tip of the rightH3233 earH241 of him that is to be cleansedH2891, and upon the thumbH931 of his rightH3233 handH3027, and on the great toeH931 of his rightH3233 footH7272, upon the placeH4725 of the bloodH1818 of the trespass-offering. 29And the remainderH3498 of the oilH8081 that is in the priest's handH3709 he shall putH5414 upon the headH7218 of him that is to be cleansedH2891, to makeH5414 atonementH3722 for him before Jehovah. 30And he shall offerH6213 oneH259 of the turtle-doves, or of the youngH1121 pigeons, of what his handH3027 was able to get; 31of what his handH3027 was able to get shall the oneH259 be a sin-offering, and the other a burnt-offering, with the oblation; and the priestH3548 shall make atonementH3722 for him that is to be cleansedH2891 before Jehovah. 32This is the lawH8451 for him in whom is the sore of leprosy, whose handH3027 cannot get what is [regularly prescribed] in his cleansing. 33And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872 and to AaronH175, sayingH559, 34When ye comeH935 into the landH776 of CanaanH3667, which I giveH5414 to you for a possessionH272, and I putH5414 a leprous plagueH5061 in a houseH1004 of the landH776 of your possessionH272, 35then he whose houseH1004 it is shall comeH935 and tellH5046 the priestH3548, sayingH559, It seemeth to me like a plagueH5061 in the houseH1004; 36and the priestH3548 shall commandH6680 that they empty the houseH1004 before the priestH3548 goH935 into it to seeH7200 the plagueH5061, that all that is in the houseH1004 be not madeH2930 uncleanH2930; and afterwards the priestH3548 shall goH935 in to seeH7200 the houseH1004. 37And when he looketh on the plagueH5061, and behold, the plagueH5061 is in the wallsH7023 of the houseH1004, greenishH3422 or reddishH125 hollows, and their look is deeperH8217 than the surface of the wallH7023, 38then the priestH3548 shall goH3318 out of the houseH1004 to the entranceH6607 of the houseH1004, and shutH5462 up the houseH1004 sevenH7651 daysH3117. 39And the priestH3548 shall come again the seventhH7637 dayH3117, and when he looketh, and behold, the plagueH5061 hath spreadH6581 in the wallsH7023 of the houseH1004, 40then the priestH3548 shall commandH6680 that they take awayH7993 the stonesH68 in which the plagueH5061 is, and they shall castH7993 them out of the cityH5892, in an uncleanH2931 placeH4725. 41And he shall cause the houseH1004 to be scrapedH7096 within roundH5439 about, and they shall pourH8210 out the mortar that they have scrapedH7096 off, out of the cityH5892 in an uncleanH2931 placeH4725. 42And they shall takeH3947 otherH312 stonesH68, and put them in the placeH8478 of those stonesH68; and they shall takeH3947 otherH312 mortar, and shall plaster the houseH1004. 43And if the plagueH5061 come again, and break out in the houseH1004, after he hath taken awayH7725 the stonesH68, and after he hath scrapedH7096 the houseH1004, and after it is plasteredH2902, 44then the priestH3548 shall comeH935, and when he looketh, and behold, the plagueH5061 hath spreadH6581 in the houseH1004, it is a corroding leprosy in the houseH1004: it is uncleanH2931. 45And they shall breakH5422 down the houseH1004, the stonesH68 of it, and the timber thereof, and all the mortar of the houseH1004, and shall carry them forthH3318 out of the cityH5892 to an uncleanH2931 placeH4725. 46And he that goeth into the houseH1004 as long as it is shutH5462 up shall be uncleanH2930 until the even. 47And he that sleepeth in the houseH1004 shall washH3526 his garmentsH899, and he that eateth in the houseH1004 shall washH3526 his garmentsH899. 48But if the priestH3548 shall comeH935 in and look, and behold, the plagueH5061 hath not spreadH6581 in the houseH1004, after the houseH1004 hath been plasteredH2902, the priestH3548 shall pronounce the houseH1004 cleanH2891; for the plagueH5061 is healedH7495. 49And he shall takeH3947, to purge the houseH1004 from the defilement, twoH8147 birdsH6833, and cedar-wood, and scarletH8144, and hyssopH231; 50and he shall kill oneH259 birdH6833 in an earthen vesselH3627 over running waterH4325; 51and he shall takeH3947 the cedar-wood and the hyssopH231 and the scarletH8144, and the living birdH6833, and dipH2881 them in the bloodH1818 of the birdH6833 that was killed, and in the running waterH4325, and sprinkle the houseH1004 sevenH7651 timesH6471; 52and he shall purge the houseH1004 from the defilement with the bloodH1818 of the birdH6833, and with the running waterH4325, and with the living birdH6833, and with the cedar-wood, and with the hyssopH231, and with the scarletH8144; 53and he shall let the living birdH6833 loose out of the cityH5892 into the open fieldH7704; and he shall make atonementH3722 for the houseH1004, and it is cleanH2891. 54This is the lawH8451 for every sore of leprosy, and for the scallH5424, 55and for the leprosy of garmentsH899, and of housesH1004, 56and for the rising, and for the scab, and for the brightH934 spotH934, 57to teachH3384 when there is uncleanness, and when it is purified: this is the lawH8451 of leprosy.
