6WhoeverH5315 turnsH6437 toH413 mediumsH178H413 or spiritistsH3049 to prostitute himselfH2181 with themH310, I will also setH5414 My faceH6440 against that personH5315H1931 and cut him offH3772 fromH7130 his peopleH5971.

7Consecrate yourselvesH6942, therefore, and beH1961 holyH6918, becauseH3588 IH589 am the LORDH3068 your GodH430. 8And you shall keepH8104 My statutesH2708 and practice themH6213. IH589 am the LORDH3068 who sanctifies youH6942.

9IfH3588 anyoneH376 cursesH70431 his fatherH1 or motherH517, he must be put to deathH4191.2 He has cursedH7043 his fatherH1 or motherH517; his bloodH1818 shall be upon him.

Punishments for Sexual Immorality

(Proverbs 5:1–23; 1 Corinthians 5:1–8)

10If a manH376 commits adulteryH5003 withH853 another man’sH376 wifeH802—withH853 the wifeH802 of his neighborH7453—both the adultererH5003 and the adulteressH5003 must surely be put to deathH4191.

11If a manH376 liesH7901 withH853 his father’sH1 wifeH802, he has uncoveredH1540 his father’sH1 nakednessH6172. BothH8147 must surely be put to deathH4191; their bloodH1818 is upon them.

12If a manH376 liesH7901 withH853 his daughter-in-lawH3618, bothH8147 must surely be put to deathH4191. They have actedH6213 perverselyH8397; their bloodH1818 is upon them.

13If a manH376 liesH7901 withH853 a manH2145H4904 as with a womanH802, they have bothH8147 committedH6213 an abominationH8441. They must surely be put to deathH4191; their bloodH1818 is upon them.

14If a manH376 marriesH3947 both a womanH802 and her motherH517, itH1931 is depravedH2154. Both heH853 and theyH853 must be burnedH8313 in the fireH784, so that there will beH1961 noH3808 depravityH2154 among youH8432.

15If a manH376 liesH5414 carnallyH7903 with an animalH929, he must be put to deathH4191. AndH853 you are also to killH2026 the animalH929.

16If a womanH802 approachesH7126H413 anyH3605 animalH929 to mateH7250 with itH854, you must killH2026 bothH853 the womanH802 andH853 the animalH929. They must surely be put to deathH4191; their bloodH1818 is upon them.

17If a manH376 marriesH3947 his sisterH269, whether the daughterH1323 of his fatherH1 orH176 of his motherH517, and they have sexual relationsH7200H853H6172H1931,3 itH1931 is a disgraceH2617. They must be cut offH3772 in the sightH5869 ofH1121 their peopleH5971. He has uncoveredH1540 the nakednessH6172 of his sisterH269; he shall bearH5375 his iniquityH5771.

18If a manH376 liesH7901 withH853 a menstruatingH1739 womanH802 and has sexual relations with herH1540,4 he has exposedH6168 the source of her flowH4726, and sheH1931 has uncoveredH1540 the sourceH4726 of her bloodH1818. BothH8147 of them must be cut offH3772 from amongH7130 their peopleH5971.

19You must notH3808 have sexual relations withH6172H1540 the sisterH269 of your motherH517 or your fatherH1, forH3588 it is exposingH6168 one’s own kinH7607; both shall bearH5375 their iniquityH5771.

20If a manH376 liesH7901 withH853 his uncle’s wifeH1733, he has uncoveredH1540 the nakednessH6172 of his uncleH1730. They will bearH5375 their sinH2399; they shall dieH4191 childlessH6185.

21If a manH376 marriesH3947 his brother’sH251 wifeH802, itH1931 is an act of impurityH5079. He has uncoveredH1540 the nakednessH6172 of his brotherH251; they shall beH1961 childlessH6185.

Distinguish between Clean and Unclean

22You are therefore to keepH8104 allH3605 My statutesH2708 andH3605 ordinancesH4941, so that the landH776 whereH834 IH589 am bringingH935 you to liveH3427 will notH3808 vomit you outH6958. 23You must notH3808 followH1980 the statutesH2708 of the nationsH1471 IH589 am driving outH7971 before youH6440. BecauseH3588 they didH6213 allH3605 these thingsH428, I abhorredH6973 them.

24But I have toldH559 you that youH859 will inheritH3423 their landH127, since IH589 will giveH5414 it to you as an inheritanceH3423—a landH776 flowingH2100 with milkH2461 and honeyH1706. IH589 am the LORDH3068 your GodH430, whoH834 has set you apartH914 fromH4480 the peoplesH5971.

25You are therefore to distinguishH914 betweenH996 cleanH2889 and uncleanH2931 animalsH929 andH996 birdsH5775. Do notH3808 become contaminatedH8262 by any animalH929 or birdH5775, or by anythingH3605 thatH834 crawlsH7430 on the groundH127; I have set theseH834 apartH914 as uncleanH2930 for you. 26You are to beH1961 holyH6918 to Me becauseH3588 IH589, the LORDH3068, am holyH6918, and I have set you apartH914 fromH4480 the nationsH5971 to beH1961 My own.

27A manH376 orH176 a womanH802H3588 who isH1961 a mediumH178 orH176 spiritistH3049 must surely be put to deathH4191. They shall be stonedH68H7275; their bloodH1818 is upon them.’”
